Never in my life have I LAUGHED out loud when my food hit the table…so at least this was a historic meal. Before getting our appalling entree, we ordered the “garlic bread,” which comprised a few flavorless chunks of bread that apparently sat in the presence of garlic until stale, and were then served. We ordered the “Margarita” pizza. The kind with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, etc.. Typically good dough. We instead received the most comically unappetizing, lunchable-looking, ketchup drenched, tomato-less, basil-less, frozen TV meal, war ration, grease ridden, inner-city-public-school-lunch-resembling disc of disgust. One of the tastiest burgers in Athens. I've been going there since I was in school ( 20something years) and the quality has NEVER changed. I love 2 kinds of burgers and 99% of the times I order them and NEVER EVER have they tasted differently than what I remember from my teen years 😎. I live close to them so I take delivery orders mostly and some times they treat me either with a beverage or a desert. If you go there to dine at busy hours (after 20:00 and after 15:00 on the weekends) prepare to wait to find a table. We stayed around the neighbouhood during our visit to Athens and came across Colibri when we were looking for a place for dinner. It was an excellent choice and we would highly recommend, especially their pizzas which tasted absolutely amazing. Friendly staff & service (they provided free drinking water - definitely the first restaurant to do so after one week of stay in Greece), good atmosphere & vibe. It was filled with young people enjoying social life on a Wednesday evening and more crowd was still coming in after 10pm! Definitely worth...
