Baba Ghanoush Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Athens

It can't be that time after time this place does not disappoint! It's unnatural. Every single time I have ordered, the food has been impeccable! There are no words. It's full of taste and always top quality! It's unimaginable that they have managed to put together something that is so delicious. It does not feel like it is prepared in a restaurant, it feels as if it's a home-cooked meal prepared by a 5star professional chef. I have never been to the place, I always order, and never have I ever been let down in the slightest. This restaurant has managed to make vegetarian and vegan dishes unbelievably delicious, the same dishes that have always been tasteless and disappointing or at best just mid, in every other place I have tried(and in general to be honest!). I just cannot fathom that a vegan burger can taste so perfect that I am easily choosing it as much as the tastiest juiciest beef burger in Athens. I must have ordered a thousand times-I have tries almost the whole menu, everything is phenomenal. I wish from the bottom of my heart the very best to everyone that contributes to making this amazing food. I just can't believe that you have made so many of my days that I ordered in and got to taste such excellent food, I just can't belive that you can make such incredible meals. It isn't about vegan or vegetarian, it's just genuinely great food that will leave you satisfied to the fullest. This is on my top 3 places in the wider Athens area. OMG! OMG! I wanna start by saying I've ordered from many vegan or vegetarian places, and from now on, I will place this spot on my list (yes, I have one) for the best falafel in Athens. I tried their menu highlights, so the falafels, the Persian Falefel pita, and the Hummus Falafel Pita. One of the two pitas had not only ingredients that you would expect from a vegan restaurant but also it had a fried eggplant inside it and I honestly found only another place in Athens that makes this type of falafel pita. The pita to wrap the ingredients is very good, It's tasty, it's crispy, and seems almost pan-fried. The falafels are exceptional. Very good. I tried also their "I love it" dip (which is spicy not super but it is a bit) and WOW. Very very good. I tried the chips and were good as well, crispy and delicious. Would have been nice if they had sweet potatoes fries as well in their menu. Overall, I'm shocked on how good this Middle Eastern place was. I will for sure go to dine in too and bring my friends as well. The high reviews are more than justified. For 2 large pitas, 4 falafel balls, the dip and the fries I paid 20 euros, not bad considering I had food even for the next day because the portions were large.

5 Stars - but just for the food and it’s price! We had falafel pitas which were very tasty and fresh. Good size and better prize. But the service was not really welcoming us. We came in and nobody talked to us. No „hello“, no „what can we do?“. So we stood there, looked at each other and after a few moments we found the menu. We read it and chose our favorites. And then? Nothing happened. We had to active close to a person who was staring the whole time at his notebook. Maybe he had to manage all the online orders. We don’t know. Then he takes our orders and later he brought us the food. In the end there was no „thanks“ for our tip (until now, we don’t know, why we gave a tip).
