Our family of four stayed at Olympus Residence at the end of April for four nights during a short stay in Athens before heading out on a cruise. The apartment is in a great location with several restaurants, grocery stores, cafes and access to public transit all within walking distance. It is also only a short walk from most of Athens large attractions (Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Ancient Agora, etc.) and just around the corner from Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympics. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for the entire family with all the required amenities for a comfortable stay. Our contact person, Eva, was super helpful and friendly. She made the check in process easy and efficient and provided us with some great recommendations for local restaurants. She was always very responsive to any questions we had even outside of business hours. She even stepped in and helped us out with a transportation issue we had making sure that we were able to make it to the cruise port on time. The only downside to the building is that due to the marble floors and stairs and lack of anything to absorb sound in the main hallways it can be a little noisy at times when people are coming and going. But overall we truly...
Read moreAmazing place!!! We stayed at Olympus Residence in Athens 3 nights with my family of 6 people. The apartment is in a walkable distance fro the Acropolis Museum,Acropolis,Plaka. We found a nice 15 minutes short cut from the apartment to those sights. There was a grocery store nearby. The area is friendly, quiet and safe. The whole apartment complex has a modern vibe with reimagined greek elements. We loved the subtle hints from those elements where we are,but it was not overpowering. The apartment itself is spacious, well equipped. The three seperate bedrooms and two bathrooms made the stay of 6 family members really enjoyable as no one had to sleep in the living room on the couch. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, welcoming. The beds were crispy white and comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen is well equipped so we were able to cook dinner one night when we arrived too late to go out eating. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and recommend this place. Thank you...
Read moreThe apartment is in a good location, a short taxi ride (use Uber rather than hailing a taxi, to and from the airport the Uber price and the taxi price were around the same, but when in the city the Uber prices were significantly cheaper than what you pay hailing or calling for a taxi - all of our Ubers were in Taxi cars but would cost around €5-€6 for a ride to a different location within the city rather than €20 for an actual taxi) or it is about a 20-25 minute walk to the center of town (the shops, Parthenon, etc). The street was quiet and there were resturants and a few markets around which made it easy to grab what we needed when walking back in the evenings. Eva was attentive and very easy to communicate with, she checked on us via messages on Airbnb throughout our stay. The apartment was clean upon arrival and check in was very easy with Eva’s instructions. Overall our stay was very pleasant, and we would love to stay here again if we are ever in...
