We planned a trip to the Sani Resort, due to the Rafa Nadal Tennis center. I wanted to play tennis every day. I play 3-5 times a week. I’m somewhere between a USTA 2.5 - 3.0 (late in life tennis player, but former athlete.) I also feel confident leaving the review because the people I played with were also very unhappy with the clinic. I have played at hundreds of clinics over the years. Unfortunately, my experience at the center was one of the worst group lesson experiences of my life. If you are a more advanced level, you might have a better experience. Clinic: We had one pro for the five us (similar level). I would mention the pro’s name, but he didn’t even introduce himself to us. He was unfriendly, and he kept messing up the drills. He did not wear a watch, so he couldn’t tell how long a group had been doing drills. Absolutely no time management. In one court, he did basket feeds (for 2 hours) and in the other court, was rally drills (unsupervised). In a 2-hour clinic, he could not figure out how to get 5 of us equal time to serve. Thus, only 3 participants served at the last 10 minutes. Attitude: The pro (young, tall guy) was unfriendly and lacked enthusiasm. He showed no excitement. He clearly did not want to coach us, and yet he had no problem criticizing players. Again, we are all adult women on vacation. We are happy to play and want to have a good time. Equipment: Even the pro complained about not having enough balls to run the drills with us. The pro had about 30 hard balls with the felt wearing down on most of them. We were on two courts, and one of the courts did not even have a basket of balls provided. My local city park provides a basket of 50 good balls on each court. There was only one pick up tube per court. Finally, before my clinic, I observed a small cardio tennis clinic. A woman participant was clearly the weakest player (they don’t specify the level), and the pro (different one than I had) was so nasty with her. Major ick. She was apologetic and kind, but the pro was really unprofessional and rude. I was pretty appalled by what I observed. The clinic was so bad, I did not want to continue to pay for more bad clinics. I canceled my remaining reservations. Sani ended up refunding me for the clinic I did participate in (didn’t ask for it). If they did not, I would have probably given this place a 1-star. However, with the intention of the trip to play tennis, we had to change our vacation objectives. Would not be returning or recommending the Rafa Nadal Center or Sani.

We travelled over 13 hours from Asia to Sani Resort specifically for the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center experience, but unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment. Despite the strong brand association, the reality fell short in almost every way. The center is clearly overwhelmed during the summer — too few courts and not enough coaches to meet high demand. Sessions felt disorganized and rushed, and we witnessed multiple administrative lapses, including one instance where a 12-year-old was mistakenly placed in a class for 4–6-year-olds. Our personal experience was underwhelming, especially given the expectations set by others’ glowing reviews. Sadly, it did not live up to the standard one would expect from a facility carrying Rafael Nadal’s name. To add to the frustration, the management seemed disengaged and, at times, unfriendly. This tennis center has immense potential, but the operational execution and customer service needs improvement. Until then, the experience remains far from what is expected of a big tennis brand like Rafa Nadal Tennis.

Very bad experience mainly du to the Manager Kleanthis. First, it’s almost impossible to get private lessons even if you try to book several weeks before. Then, when I was there, the same manager was not very frendly like the other sany guys but cold and with a haughty attitude. We agreed on a weekly booking to play with 3 other persons but we end up playing with 7 to 8 for one coach. Then the third day I came 5 mn late and the manger gave my place to some other people so was not able to continue playing. Anyway very bad experience, the management of the booking is not serious. Was not the only one complaining about...
