Vosporos Grill House — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

Positive: The Dine around menu was quite extensive. The starters Feta cheese saganaki with red peppers marmalade and the green salad with manouri cheese, nuts and orange dressing were very delicious. The dine around menu had a vegetarian main dish and several vegetarian starters. The lady that took our order was very professional and took good care of us. The big terrace overlooking the marina is a very nice atmospheric dinner place, especially at sunset time. It was extremely stormy windy and cold outside as we sat on the terrace, but the manager was very professional, made an effort to keep us warm, turned on a lot of heaters and asked if we’re still happy

Negative: The roasted pineapple dessert didn’t have a flambé roasted caramelised taste at all and was very sweet, so we assumed the pineapple was canned not a fresh one. It came on top of a soggy bread which was quite a strange combination. We had the same dessert in 2017 and it tasted significantly better, back then it didn’t have a bread underneath and the fruit was definitely fresh The tsatsiki didn’t have garlicky taste at all The gyros was ok, but the chips/fries were waaaay too burnt and over-crunchy. We think maybe they were fried for too long One young man with glasses that also took our order were nice but maybe would need more training since he seemed a little bit confused. Vosporos is the best reasonably priced restaurant at Sani. It’s a perfect Greek atmosphere with a beautiful view. The staff are very nice, even compared to the quality staff around the resort. Food is more reasonably priced than other locations, and I’d say it’s slightly lower quality - but still good. If you’re full board at Sani there’s a huge 5 course menu as well. I’d choose The combination of atmosphere and price at Vosporos over most other Sani restaurants especially when compared to nearby Tomata which was a worse atmosphere and...

As a local Greek, this place is a disgrace and an embarrassment. Exorbitant New York prices for very low quality ingredients. Even the simplest taverna in Greece would have better quality tomatoes and more olive oil in the salad for a fraction of the price. This place is obviously cutting corners wherever it can.
