The Children's Museum of Guatemala — Local services in Guatemala City

A diamond in the rough! Such a fun place we would absolutely go again. Great activities for kids from small to 12 or 14 years old. Even as parents we had a great time and the employees were so kind. Definitely plan to go if you are in Guatemala city.

Location: Easy to get to just down the street from La Aurora Zoo (which is also a must).

Cleanliness: clean, open, air conditioned and fun. Hand sanitizer stations all over and clean bathrooms

Cost: the entrance fee is completely worth it and very reasonable for all the fun activities.

Customer service: The people who work there are so kind and welcoming. The proactively asked if we wanted to do activities and they talked and taught the kids looking directly at then. It was so great.

We definitely would go again and wished we had even more...

It's a pretty big place with a lot of activities inside and outside but I wouldn't say it's a museum. More like recreational centre for kids. Staff are amazing. Really friendly and eager to interact with the kids. The outside area was really well maintained....basically one big play area. I would have given 5 stars if not for some of the toys inside which would benefit from minor refurbishment.

Why is this an awesome children's museum? The exhibitions are high quality and educational. The area is super clean and nicely organized with both indoor and outdoor space. The best part is the service. Each attraction has an employee who facilitates child interaction with the subject. All of the employees were like teachers. They take their jobs seriously and will teach your kids something. Truly priceless and a must visit...
