Nais Cortez — Restaurant in Guatemala City

So, we went to this restaurant while we were on vacation. The parking is very small, maybe for eight cars only. When we got there, the music was too loud and the restaurant was too dark. We went there around 2pm. The waiters were friendly but not too helpful. We asked several questions about the menu but the explanation wasn't clear. Every one ordered different plates, most plates we ordered were meat. To be honest, I don't remember exactly what the plates were but everyone complained the meat wasn't good (dry, no flavor) The plates were considered expensive for the amount of food they have. Forgetting all that, the worse part was my daughter's hamburger. We clearly said to be well done. When they served it, it was rare temperature. We asked the waiter to have it well done. He said, " okay I will ask the kitchen to have it cook. It took about 30 minutes to bring it back, everyone was about to finish their food. Well, when we checked the meat, guess what? Yes, it was the same or even worse. We called the guy again and we showed him the meat. He said " I asked them to cook it, they said it was well done. I will take it and ask " He came with the same meat, and he said they told him it's well done and that they don't know why the meat looks red. They explained that the restaurant received all the meat from a company so they have no idea why it looks red. We were very concerned at that point what kind of beef they serve? is it from a cow? We decided not to eat it and guess what? The manager never showed up to explain or to ask if everything was okay. They never offered any type of discount or at least a free drink because of the inconvenience. We were there for about 2 and a half hours so we really didn't ask to talk to the manager, all we wanted was to get out of there so, we paid and left. I really don't recommend going there, they don't even know why the beef they serve is with that weird color. Is it from a cow? Or it could be dog's, or even horse. Who knows but we are never going back to...

I went there to enjoy an all you can eat deal and drink. The first slide of meat was not great, nonetheless as you keep on ordering the meant get better. After the 3rd slide food turned out to be magnificent. The staff is super helpful and they care for you. The owner comes out once per night to check on you feedback and ensure you are having a great time. Overall...

Tough meat, glass in my salad. The salad was cut in a way that made it difficult to eat. Most of the food was poorly presented on the plates. The manager was talking on the phone for over an hr and a half, he knew i had glass in my salad but couldnt care less... his mind and attention...
