I recently had an incredibly frustrating shopping experience at the Metro store in Hoodi. Despite offering a wide range of products, the store's lack of customer management and poor communication made it a highly disappointing visit.
First and foremost, after completing my shopping, I had to wait in line for a staggering 15 minutes at the billing counter. To my surprise, I was then informed that a Metro card was mandatory to make any purchase in the store. This requirement was not clearly communicated beforehand, leaving me perplexed and irritated.
I proceeded to register for the Metro card, hoping to resolve the issue quickly. However, the registration process was far from efficient. I was informed that I would receive a confirmation email within 20 minutes, but I ended up waiting for an astonishing 1 hour and 15 minutes. Each time I inquired about the delay, the staff provided vague responses, merely stating that the server was busy. This lack of transparency and poor communication added to my frustration.
To compound matters, the store lacked any alternative payment methods for emergencies or situations like mine. Given the inconvenience caused by the Metro card requirement, it would have been prudent to have backup payment options available. Unfortunately, no such provision was in place, leaving me feeling trapped and wasting a significant amount of time.
Finally, I returned to the billing counter only to find that my items had been returned to their original locations. I had explicitly requested the staff to retain my items while I completed the card registration process. As a result, I had to navigate the entire store once again to retrieve my items, adding unnecessary hassle and frustration.
Despite the difficulties I encountered, the staff refused to offer any priority in the billing queue, even though I had gone through significant trouble due to their inadequate procedures. This lack of empathy and understanding from the staff further was disappointing.
In conclusion, my visit to Metro store in Hoodi was the most frustrating shopping experience I have ever had. The management urgently needs to address issues related to customer management, including clearly communicating mandatory requirements such as the Metro card. Additionally, it is crucial for the store to provide alternative payment options for emergencies or situations like mine. As different variety of food grains and other consumables are kept in an open environment, any vector borne disease won't take much time to spread in this kind of setting. I urge the Metro Cash and Carry franchise to consider some measures to fight the infestation.
The sales person for Shakahari was saying that he has tasted both these food and shakahari is better. It is good to support your brand, but not at the expense of any other brands. This kind of predatory marketing is not good for both brands. We decided not to try eithe options as there was good discount on an alternative product. But as a customer it didn't seen correct that the marketing was being done this way.

I placed the order on 26 Jan 2023. While placing the order it was showing the order will be delivered next day 27 Jan 2023 but today is 29 Jan 2023 and there is no update at all. While checking in app is shows it is ready for delivery from last 2 days.
I tried to contact the Whitefield Metro representative as well several times but he is also not responding.
