I recently visited Maize & Malt and had a very positive experience that I'd be happy to share. This establishment truly impressed me in several key areas, making it a spot I'm already planning to revisit.

Ambiance & Atmosphere The pub's ambiance was absolutely excellent - this was one of the standout features of my visit. The space is beautifully designed with artistic decoration throughout, creating an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. What really struck me was how spacious the venue is, allowing for comfortable dining without feeling cramped. I have a feeling the experience would be even more spectacular during evening hours. The background music was perfectly balanced - not too loud, allowing for easy conversation while adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

Food Quality Without a doubt, the food was the absolute highlight of our visit. Every single dish we tried was excellent, showcasing quality ingredients and skillful preparation. The culinary experience alone makes this pub worth visiting, and it's clear that the kitchen takes pride in their offerings. This is definitely where Mayes and Mall Pub truly shines.

Drinks The drink selection was decent, though not quite as impressive as the food. We sampled a few beers, which were okay - perfectly acceptable but nothing extraordinary. While the beverages won't disappoint, they don't reach the same level of excellence as the food menu.

Service Experience Service turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag initially. When we first arrived, the service was noticeably slow, and as the venue filled up with more guests, delays became more pronounced. However, I appreciate that when we brought this concern to the manager's attention, they took immediate action. From that point forward, they ensured we had dedicated attention, and the service quality improved significantly. This shows the management's commitment to customer satisfaction, which I found reassuring.

Value for Money Pricing isn't cheap, but it's comparable to similar establishments in the area. Considering the quality of food and the overall experience, the cost feels justified and in line with market standards.

Despite the initial service hiccups, I genuinely loved this place. The combination of excellent food, beautiful ambiance, and responsive management when issues arise makes for a winning formula. I'm definitely planning to return, and I suspect an evening visit would be even more memorable given the atmosphere...

Maize and Malt in Whitefield brings a breath of fresh air to the area’s dining scene with its elegant setting and a menu that offers a delightful mix of global flavors. The restaurant is massive, featuring various uniquely designed seating areas, each offering its own charm and ambiance. Whether you prefer cozy, intimate corners or more open, spacious sections for larger gatherings, Maize and Malt has something for everyone.

A striking feature of the place is the humongous metal ramp that leads to the upper floor, adding an industrial-chic vibe to the design. It’s not only functional but also highly photogenic, making it a popular spot for pictures. The restaurant is open on three sides, allowing an abundance of natural light and fresh air to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. The attention to detail in the design is impressive. The blend of modern sophistication with a relaxed, inviting vibe makes it the perfect spot for any occasion, from casual outings to special celebrations. It’s easy to lose track of time here, especially with the comfort of the thoughtfully arranged seating and the stunning ambiance.

As for the food, Maize and Malt offers a wide variety of global cuisines, catering to every palate. From hearty European fare to lighter, Asian-inspired dishes, their menu has it all. We particularly enjoyed their signature pizzas, baked to perfection with a crispy yet chewy crust and fresh toppings. The pasta dishes are equally impressive, boasting rich, flavorful sauces and perfectly cooked noodles.

Don’t miss the desserts, especially their poached raspberry pear and caramel custard, which make for a delightful end to your meal.

Overall, Maize and Malt is a top-tier dining destination in Whitefield. With its vast, beautifully designed interiors, photogenic metal ramp, open-air design, and exceptional food, it’s a place that will keep you coming back. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely evening, you’re guaranteed a...

It's an easy find on Google maps. It's just after Decathlon. On A busy street where one finds residential as well as enterprises co-existing. Valet parking is the need of the time.. parking by ourselves will narrow the road and make it more inconvenient for the commuters. This place has an awesome space.. pop up stalls at the entrance with enough pathway.. amongst them were dog adoption counters and their foodies too found a stall. Up the steps.to the reception.. One can either turn left for the Buffet..approx 1200/head..had a spread of approx 60 dishes.with spacious seating arrangements with water bodies, music and drinks. Lot of space to walk with no obstruction. Then up the winding bridge to the top..the Covered roof top presents a pretty picture.. one can choose from the varied seating options for small and big groups. Scan the QR  for menu options. I prefer flipping the pages and it's convenient to discuss with the staff. The music, breeze ,the warmth, the constant buzzing of chatter added to the ambience. ⭐ Rojee was a great order deciding factor  saving us time from going back and forth in the mobile.Service was QUICK. The staff were on their toes.. what with the on and off footfalls. Each table had a no.. and the staff were in a call distance. The beer had to be changed..which was done in a jiffy. Food was served hot and was good. We enjoyed our dishes . We were full by the end of our course.. so we had to get a take away. No service charge on the bill. Evenings will be enjoyable with the lights and music and one's respective company. The restrooms are neat and clean. Lots of places to take pics. Weekends, especially evenings..ringing up for reservation would be a better option . An eye has to be kept on small children by their respective parents. They are pet friendly but they are allowed only on the ground floor.. not the a la carte...

Fifth visit May 2025 Alephanso mango is a brilliant seasonal flavour. Highly recommended ale. Fourth visit Jan 2025 Gingerbread milk stout was the newest beer, pretty impressive, as not everyone can brew a good Stout. They were not serving hard liquor, probably some excise license issue. Third visit Oct 2024 The place is beautifully lit up in the evening (first visit was during lunch hours). Hefeweizen, Weizenbock and Belgian wit were fantastic. Margherita pizza was good too. They had a special Halloween menu and decor. Had a great time, would recommend this for sure. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, but a few seemed casual and didn’t care much about customer preferences. Second visit Sep 2024 Oktoberfest menu is on. Enjoyed the beer. First visit Aug 2024 The latest microbrewery in town as of August 2024. The place is near Phoenix mall and Decathlon. Big on space, ambience is cool with small ponds and plants. They had mentioned 7 flavours of beer in the menu on Swiggy Dineout, but only 5 were available. Beer was good, but not great. Had the Belgian wit and hazy IPA. Not in the same league as Toit, Windmills, Byg Brewski though. No issues with food either, the pizza was great, but nachos were not upto the mark. Thai chilli basil fish was good. Service was slow on a sunday afternoon, with the place pretty occupied. We had issues with their menu scanner, we had placed the order but apparently they didn’t get any. They don’t offer wifi yet, so might run into mobile network issues. Overall its pretty good and wouldn’t mind visiting again.
