I recently visited Maize & Malt and had a very positive experience that I'd be happy to share. This establishment truly impressed me in several key areas, making it a spot I'm already planning to revisit.
Ambiance & Atmosphere The pub's ambiance was absolutely excellent - this was one of the standout features of my visit. The space is beautifully designed with artistic decoration throughout, creating an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. What really struck me was how spacious the venue is, allowing for comfortable dining without feeling cramped. I have a feeling the experience would be even more spectacular during evening hours. The background music was perfectly balanced - not too loud, allowing for easy conversation while adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
Food Quality Without a doubt, the food was the absolute highlight of our visit. Every single dish we tried was excellent, showcasing quality ingredients and skillful preparation. The culinary experience alone makes this pub worth visiting, and it's clear that the kitchen takes pride in their offerings. This is definitely where Mayes and Mall Pub truly shines.
Drinks The drink selection was decent, though not quite as impressive as the food. We sampled a few beers, which were okay - perfectly acceptable but nothing extraordinary. While the beverages won't disappoint, they don't reach the same level of excellence as the food menu.
Service Experience Service turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag initially. When we first arrived, the service was noticeably slow, and as the venue filled up with more guests, delays became more pronounced. However, I appreciate that when we brought this concern to the manager's attention, they took immediate action. From that point forward, they ensured we had dedicated attention, and the service quality improved significantly. This shows the management's commitment to customer satisfaction, which I found reassuring.
Value for Money Pricing isn't cheap, but it's comparable to similar establishments in the area. Considering the quality of food and the overall experience, the cost feels justified and in line with market standards.
Despite the initial service hiccups, I genuinely loved this place. The combination of excellent food, beautiful ambiance, and responsive management when issues arise makes for a winning formula. I'm definitely planning to return, and I suspect an evening visit would be even more memorable given the atmosphere...

It's an easy find on Google maps. It's just after Decathlon. On A busy street where one finds residential as well as enterprises co-existing. Valet parking is the need of the time.. parking by ourselves will narrow the road and make it more inconvenient for the commuters. This place has an awesome space.. pop up stalls at the entrance with enough pathway.. amongst them were dog adoption counters and their foodies too found a stall. Up the steps.to the reception.. One can either turn left for the Buffet..approx 1200/head..had a spread of approx 60 dishes.with spacious seating arrangements with water bodies, music and drinks. Lot of space to walk with no obstruction. Then up the winding bridge to the top..the Covered roof top presents a pretty picture.. one can choose from the varied seating options for small and big groups. Scan the QR for menu options. I prefer flipping the pages and it's convenient to discuss with the staff. The music, breeze ,the warmth, the constant buzzing of chatter added to the ambience. ⭐ Rojee was a great order deciding factor saving us time from going back and forth in the mobile.Service was QUICK. The staff were on their toes.. what with the on and off footfalls. Each table had a no.. and the staff were in a call distance. The beer had to be changed..which was done in a jiffy. Food was served hot and was good. We enjoyed our dishes . We were full by the end of our course.. so we had to get a take away. No service charge on the bill. Evenings will be enjoyable with the lights and music and one's respective company. The restrooms are neat and clean. Lots of places to take pics. Weekends, especially evenings..ringing up for reservation would be a better option . An eye has to be kept on small children by their respective parents. They are pet friendly but they are allowed only on the ground floor.. not the a la carte...
