Dear Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital Vasant Kunj, New Delhi Team I am writing to bring to your attention the poor queue management at your hospital. I had a recent experience where I had to wait for an unreasonably long time, as if I was waiting in a government hospital. Despite there being six billing counters, only four were open, leading to a huge queue and causing unnecessary inconvenience to patients. Furthermore, I was extremely disappointed to witness the behavior of some of your staff members. They were asking patients to go to diagnostic areas to check if they could get their tests done without billing, just to avoid conversation and show no respect and concern for patients. This is unacceptable behavior, and patients deserve to be treated with respect and empathy. Additionally, I observed that elderly patients were being disregarded and asked to hurry up and walk fast, which is not only disrespectful but also unfair to them. They should be given the necessary time and attention they require. I hope you will take my feedback seriously and take necessary steps to improve the situation. Patients come to your hospital with the hope of receiving quality healthcare, and they deserve a positive experience. I look forward to hearing back from you regarding the steps you plan to take to address these issues.

It seems patient care, maintenance, service everything has taken a backseat at fortis vasant kunj. My father was admitted there for three days recently and you can see the photos of a semi private room for which I paid Rs.7500. The wall, the curtains everything was stained. The bed was seriously jeopardized there was rust everywhere. This was a semi private room, and the lock was broken on the toilet door. You can imagine the ordeal of patients and attendants managing with a broken toilet door. In one of the photographs, you can see that the wall had completely peeled off. Talking about the service the staff is really not concerned I had to practically call up almost all numbers on the on the list to get simple things like drinking water and the remote control for the television get done. Such was the situation that my next-door neighbor in this room started shouting at everybody because they were not doing even the simple tasks. The patient care team, in fact visit both of us and despite bringing those problems to their attention, nothing was done. So even if you are spending money, you are really not getting the desert service. It was like made to stay in a one star hotel, after paying five star rates. Please try to avoid fortis vasant kunj.

Got a very bitter and worst experience by admitting here... Very rude and non helping nature staff especially in the billing and TPA section. Was in the ICU where the air conditioning was so extreme and on repeated requests nothing else was changed from the management. Had to wait 12 hours and fight for getting discharged. I feel I was better sick than getting admitted here, I came out even with poor physical as well as mental health. I would request anyone who wants to go there to consider AIIMS. Thank you. P.S: Some nurses in the ICU were doing their work with involvement and in the best possible way. I would like to thank them🙏 Mobile charging is not present, which is a major shortcoming⚠️

I hv rcvd the treatment from Dr Kameshwar Prasad Sir &entr Neuro team of his expertise doctor-members (Dr Pinky Ma'am, Dr Tanuja Ma'am) for a very uncommon and rare neurological disease..idntfd by Nrsrgn Dr Anurag Gupta.. Autoimmune Etiology..Demyelination of Peripheral and Central Nervous System.. involving the gradually increasing atrophy of cranial nerves..Optic Nerves..optic neuritis, TN, GBS alongwith the prolonged Walking Disability (due to the same reason)..Yes, I stay on wheelchair for several years..&was on the verge of reducing vision very rapidly where many doctors even gave up on taking the case..However, I really feel blessed and honoured to get in touch and association with these beautiful angels who master such a beautiful art of managing complexity with such a beautiful simplicity..Simplifying the entire matter with such a btfl vision which really touches the deep intricacies of the soul within..Yes, I was there for 20 days.. The over-all systematic approach adopted by Sir and the team (overall managed by the brilliant being Dr Pinky Ma'am) is really much much far beyond excellence actually..My tough procedures in ICU (plasmapharesis).. Room Stay..emrgncy calls during my entire stay were managed and taken care off with such a serene and beautiful conduct.Yes, they possess such an excellent professionalism, technical skills..wd such a stern eye to each and every minute detail with such an intricate and accurate precision..trying to put the bestest foot forward of managing the 10-years' long extensive medical case of several neurosurgeries and relapsing neurological damages..So, yes their excellent medical competencies and overall professionalism of planning, discussing, analysis with an unimaginable expertise and transparency, hence approaching towards the root cause and hence the treatment is truly mother swear much much beyond imagination with such a divine and applaudable coordination... But yes, at the same time, I would like to say that they are not at all the professionals, which is actually the only reason for them for them to do such a beautiful service for the humanity and hence for we to really feel honoured to get our bodies' ailments to get healed so beautifully and blissfully.. The overall consciousness with which these souls nurture and mentor us (I won't say treated us and yes, I mean it because that would sound a professional language) is really such a heavenly bliss to be a part of. Coming with such a long and complicated medical history and that with continuous worsening without much scope of further improvement at a tender age of 32, a patient tends to get tender and lose patience at times..But yes, the overall personal touch and soul-connect exhibited alongwith the world's best medical expertise actually heals the soul not the bodies..Because yes, the bodies have to get healed automatically then with such an approach.. The way they used to coordinate with each and every concerned doctor, department, blood bank, ENT Department is really beyond words.. overall well-coordinated holistic approach..The ENT Director Dr Hans and team led by Dr Sakshi with such a beautiful politeness and wonderful conduct to manage such a rare ENT Disease Menier's Disease alongwith so many other neurological, neurosurgical& ENT related issues.. is really worth an applause..The entire ideology rests on untiring dedication.. And yes as I mentioned, The Blood Bank Doctors during my entire process of plasmapheresis for 10 days in the ICU dealt with the every cycle with such a beautiful ease of putting forth the treatment plan, executing it with a beautiful smile, divine mannerism and yes definitely with such a beautiful soul-connect..Eternally grateful 🪴🙏🪔✨ The Nursing Staff as mentioned are the eternal backbone whose essence is just to mother you, taking care of you every moment like your sister, like your brother. be it in The ICU, Room.. headed with such responsible & an ever-ready superintendents whose overall philosophy &protocol rest on discipline, balance &compassion 4 staff & us. F&B...

I admitted my brother in Fortis on 31st August 2024, for Dengue fever, which used to reach as high as 105F. He was admitted under Dr.Mugdha Tapdiya. All hospital staff(management , doctor, etc) firstly claimed, that my brother's treatment will be covered by his health insurance, gave him all hi-fi treatment. But this lady, Dr.Mugdha, very well knew how to play this game. Without our consent, she framed a report based on UTI, that my brother is admitted for UTI, not Dengue, which was straight away rejected by insurance company(as UTI is not covered under insurance).

When we enquireed with her after rejection of insurance, she said he had borderline dengue which is "not considered Dengue" in medical terms. This information she didn't provide us on the first day, but after 2 days of my brother's admission. Our hospital bill by then reached approx. 1.5lakhs, and my brother's fever was still peaking to 105F.

His CRP before admitting to Fortis under this lady doctor was 16, which after admitting peaked to 39. His sodium increased.

He used to shiver badly in fever with temperature being more than 102.8F, peaking to 105.1F but hospital staff never recorded the real temperature. They were treating him for UTI, instead of dengue or any other possibility.

They conducted irrelevant tests, didn't let him sleep at night, kept giving him sodium, without informing us about the kind of tests, reasons, etc.and even asking us to write application to see reports of my own brother.

Fed up with this nuisance of Dr. Mugdha, I got my brother discharged. Even for a discharge, they took bloody 5hrs, bcoz they wanted to charge for one more day. Doctor didn't show up while discharging my brother, she denied to meet and AGAIN wrote a stupid/false letter for insurance, which was rejected AGAIN. Anyways, after a lot of fight I got my brother discharged. Contacted my doctor friends, got him treated at some other doctor's personal clinic and gave him "at home treatment". By god's grace he is fine now. He had some bacterial infection, which Fortis didn't not get tested. They conducted all rubbish kind of examination, but not bacterial. They were going to go for a GME or COLONOSCOPY, but we denied and asked for a discharge.

This was all a way to make money from a family, that is praying for their son to get well asap and looking at doctor with hope.

Dr Mugdha Tapdiya is the worst doctor. She never never told us that she was writing "low risk" pateint in reports (as she didn't allow us to see the reports) and always pretended that the pateint is too serious to handle, keeping the panic situation alive, to encash our fears. Doctor's are considered as God, but she was next to "yamraj" for us. Please please do take second opinion incase u had to take her opinion for some reason.

Fortis staff is pathetic, be it nurse, management, doctors. They aren't running a hospital, but a 5STAR HOTEL! When u enter reception left side u will see "financial management 1", "financial management 2", "Bed manager" etc.. these kind of terms. PATHETIC! Thankyou!

PS: I have record of all the points I have...

Dr Sutopa is a doctor with a magical touch. She is a brilliant medical professional and by nature she is very understanding and treats her patients very calmly and in a friendly manner. We have been consulting dr Sutopa since last 7years and since then , there has been no looking back. She has always been extremely supportive of our decisions and has always guided us with best possible solutions to our gynaec problems .

My pregnancy journey started with few ups and downs as there were some complications. But dr sutopa guided me at every step of my pregnancy journey and helped me deliver a beautiful and healthy baby boy 2 months back and I cannot be more than grateful to dr Sutopa for making it happen so smoothly.

We started with dr Sutopa from the day we started planning for a baby. She asked us to take few tests and also guided us to take pre-conception plan from curelinks . This really helped us conceive within 2 months of our visit to dr Sutopa. Once we conceived , we blindly followed her and did whatever was required to deliver a healthy baby. She was very polite and was always available on call to help us with smallest of the doubts.

Her infectious smile is all that a person would need to make them feel good. After knowing her for so long, she is like a family to us and treats me like her sister . She has always been supportive and I can't think of anyone else for my gynae problems. I have even recommended her to my friends and family. All you need to do is trust her and she will take care of the rest.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to mam and her team of doctors and support staff for giving us the most happiest and special moments our life .. May God bless you with good health and happiness and may you remain the source of happiness for many others just like us...
