Harish Sweets in Sapphire 83, Gurgaon is one of the early sweet, chaat and bakery shops. We are patronising the joint for more than 2 years. We see a drastic decline in quality, service and hygiene of Harish Sweets. Firstly Pani Puri, Jalebi, Kulfi and Milk are thrown out of the premises (encroaching passages of the mall) surrounded by litter and waste bins creating bad odour and unhygienic conditions. Customers are treated as beggars inspite of paying unwarranted high price for sub-standard stuff. It was a bitter experience during our last visit to the so called restaurant. We bought a Plate of Papri Chaat, Pani Puri and a plate of Aloo Tikki. Being two of us wanted to have Single piece of Tikki but it is sold minimum two pieces a plate (perforce one has to compromise). Except Pani Puri both Chaat and Aloo Tikki was so bad , Papri was like a hard Mathi and we couldn’t eat both Chaat (only curd could be consumed) and Tikki being tasteless and unworthy of calling by their names. We left after consuming a little bit of them. Let’s have look at their service; Trays kept on the counter were not at all cleaned and stacked just after the use by customers. Table was not cleaned while the staff was around busy with their chat. A customer eating on the table was asked to collect his ordered other plate while the staff was standing idle at the same counter with an authoritarian look but had no courtesy to pass on the plate 3 meters away ( shear death of Indian Culture).
