BLR Lounge — Local services in Karnataka

THIS IS A REAL LOUNGE! Thanks to ease of access to cards which nowadays get lounge access by default, we see a line getting into lounge, and a line to get that dosa/poached eggs from live counter, another line to use the Restroom. Welcome to the BLR 080 Lounge, accessible only to select few cards and has limited to very few tables being occupied. Food spread seamed to be given extra care, designated dining area, usual sit out area, luxury couches to watch TV in a mini Theatre, yes a Theatre! Along with a separate no noise free zone with books for bibliophiles, Fire area(good decor) and finally a work cubicle giving you your own private space for attending to meetings/preparing that deck before you fly in your own mini working space away from noise.

FEEDBACK Please increase your TOILET capacity and Enable/allow a wee bit more people to join you guys, i felt like I'm in a other side of the border of a different country watching the crazy rush of your BLR domestic lounge just opposite to us.

In comparision, If BLR lounge has 120 people with 100 people seating. BLR 080 lounge has 20 people with the 100 people capacity(not sure how long this might be)

ONE OF THE BEST DOMESTIC LOUNGE

This is definitely one of the best Domestic Lounges among Indian Domestic Airports.

Location: Located on the 2nd level, this lounge has huge premises overlooking the 1st level and a magnificent view of the runway. Enjoy the hustle-bustle on 1st level and the fun watching the series of landing and takeoffs!

Cleanliness and Hygiene: The lounge is well ventilated. It is kept clean and by the staff. Tables are cleaned regularly and freshly cleaned plates and cutlery are replenished regularly.

Comfort: The lounge provides various seating arrangements - table and chairs, sofa, couch, high chairs and standees. There are various desk with mobile charging points. Whether you want to spend some leisure time awaiting for the flight or catch up on some office work or call, this is surely a comfortable place.

Food and beverages: A GREAT spread. Various variety of food (veg and non-veg) is offered on buffet spread and also through live counters. Various beverages are also provided complimentary some fresh and some canned or packed). There are also coffee and tea machines at self-service. There is also a counter offering alcoholic beverages.

Staff: Courteous and helpful. They keep place clean and are helpful with queries.

Lavatories: Clean and hygienic.

I can safely say the 080 lounge is one of the best lounges, on par and in some cases even better than some of the international lounges. If you have a priority pass, it's a no-brainer to visit this lounge, enjoy the tasty spread, and relax a bit before what could be a long and arduous journey.

The lounge is pretty big and that gives the members space to move around. This gives you the environment to relax and you won't be jostling arms with someone to get a seat like in a lot of other small lounges. Food menu keeps changing every few hours and they have food from a wide variety of cuisines, helping you satiate, no matter your food preference.

The bathrooms are maintained really well akin to a 5-star hotel and there is always a cleaning staff helping guests in the bathroom.

The best part for me though are the lovely cubes to spend your time and the mini library with a collection of some of the well-known books. That's my happy place. If we didn't have a flight to catch, I would have gladly stayed there for a couple of days. Don't miss visiting this lounge if you are catching a flight from BLR.
