KEBAB & KURRY NATION - BANGALORE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT — Restaurant in Karnataka

After a long exhausting return day trip to Pune from Bengaluru, my flight landed at 9:45 in the night at the Kempegowda International Airport. I was very hungry and had another hour of car ride to Whitefield. i googled to see if there any to go places in the airport or near it. I came across Kebab & Curry Nation located right outside the airport. I decided to give this place a try. Located in the Quad Food Court area right across from the Belgian Fries Co., this restaurant is open 24 hours. I ordered their “ Mutton Shaadi ka Biryani” as a to go order with extra raita. The price of the biryani was high by any standards but considering the fact that it is located at the airport, I would say it is not uncommon. The staff were very friendly and delivered my order on time. After an hour of travel and after arriving my hotel, the biryani was still warm, tasty and delicious with the raita combo. They also had Chicken & Veg Biryani, Shawarma subs, rolls as well as other curries. But those are for another day and another review. I think most of the reviews mentioned hereunder are just fake. Last evening i landed at the airport and went to this shop considering no other proper Indian food stall nearby. I ordered 2 plates tikka biriyani + 1 plate Chicken tikka. The biriyani was just awful, the rice was hard, the chicken was tasteless, even a street vendor will be much better i suppose. The Tikka was extremely average and the cost was double of what you get in the restaurants outside.

The first thing I had when I landed in Bangalore and stepped out of the airport! I didn’t feel like having any sandwich or pizza and while walking saw this.

If you are late and want to quickly grab a bite to eat or take away, Kebab and Kurry Nation is the Go-To place. I had their yummy Chicken Shawarma.

They are strategically located, no wait time, friendly staff and they are very generous with their portion size. You’ll feel worth paying the bill amount!
