The worst experience I ever had with a store.If you value your money and time, this is not the place. Unfortunately I purchased an LG AC from this store on 1st of April and store promised me an installation with 7 days of purchase.After continuos follow ups through phone and multiple store visit, technician visited site on 15th day of purchase. During installation the product was found defective, I mean the brand the new product. Store was informed about the defect the same day and same was communicated to the service team. Even after two days there was no update about replacement and on visiting the store on third day, store confirmed technician visit within 2 days and confirmed installation of new product by 21st of April. On 18th LG technician visited site again and confirmed replacement. On 20th evening, confirmation regarding approval for installation of new product was communicated to us and assured installation latest by 21st, since 20th was Sunday. We also received a call from store on 20th afternoon regarding details of LG technician so that same person can be alloted the next day for replacement n installation. But the same day evening i again received a call from store stating product is out of stock and I can opt for a higher version by paying extra amount and promised installation the very next day. Having had some much delay already and with prior customer experience we visited the store the very next day i.e on 22 d of April and requested for a refund ( To our surprise we could meet similar customer with same & multiple customer complaints which have been pending since Feb 2024). We asked for an immediate refund since funds has been blocked since the day of purchase and also no use of the product since then. I am writing this review after facing over 3 weeks of continuous harassment and inaction from Reliance Digital’s service team.
I purchased an IFB MWO Solo 24L 24PM2B microwave oven from their Kakkanad, Ernakulam showroom on 17-06-2023, along with a paid extended warranty valid till 16-06-2029. The product stopped working on 22-07-2025, and since then, it has been a nightmare dealing with their so-called support team.
Despite raising a complaint and escalating it all the way to the CEO Desk, I received only empty promises and copy-paste apologies. They assured me of technician visits “within one hour,” “within 48 hours,” and even “parts on the way,” but NOTHING happened.
It’s been over 3 weeks, and:
No technician has come
No part has arrived
No resolution has happened
I’ve been misled multiple times by different executives
What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability and ownership, even from the CEO Desk. They just keep pushing dates without actually doing anything. If this is how they treat paying customers with extended warranties, I can’t imagine how they treat others.
My advice: Don’t fall for Reliance Digital’s extended warranty schemes — they are not honored in practice.
If you're expecting after-sales support, look elsewhere.
Even top-level escalation won't help — their system is broken.
