After writing my review on google regarding the rude behaviour of their team, they called me and started talking very very badly. In the end they make fun of me and said, "Go ahead, keep crying"., this shows their professionalism.
Instead of handling the things calming they provoked me who have once trusted in their product. For me order worth of 2000 rupees doesn’t matter at all but their behavior towards their customer speaks the way you operate. No one is interested to order any product from their website if they don't know how to talk to their customer. Traumatising and making fun of the customers is not acceptable. Charging extra for the express delivery and then delaying the order without any prior notice.
For more context: Order was placed at 8:45PM on 26th of august, expected delivery time is 3-5 days. Maximum they could have said that the product will get delivered by 31st, even we include the Janmashtami holiday it should be delivered by 1st of September. PLus I even asked whether you can deliver or not on time. But they were being sooooooo rude and this type of behaviour is not acceptable as all. We are not buying any product listed on My taste my meal for free. We are paying for that and we have all rights to ask about the expected time of delivery without any weird reply like, "IN YOUR CITY THIS MUST BE THE CASE BY IN OURS SCENARIO IS DIFFERENT OR YOU ARE SAYING WHAT YOU KNOW AND I'M SHARING WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD". I had taken service from My Taste my Meal twice on a friend’s recommendation, but my experience was nothing short of humiliating.
Right from the phone inquiry, the owner was rude and dismissive, cutting calls midway and insisting I come to the shop. I travelled from Thane West to Byculla West with 100 rotis and theplas to be vacuum-packed — only to be shouted at, insulted, and treated with shocking arrogance.
As it was my first time, I asked him where I should go. Instead of guiding me, he screamed “Go there na!” When I asked why he was being so rude, he argued, murmured loudly, and kept justifying his behavior, embarrassing me in front of staff and customers.
To make it worse, I was made to pack everything myself, while the boy just sealed the bags. I later found out my friend had received complete assistance — so why was I treated differently?
This wasn’t just poor service — this was emotional bullying. It took me so many days to process the way I was made to feel. There was no crowd, no pressure — just pure ego and disrespect.
Businesses grow because of customers. Food may sell, but your behavior defines your brand. If you can’t show basic empathy or politeness, no matter how good your product is, it will eventually cost you.
