Rashmi Sweets — Local services in Mumbai

I do not recommend shopping here and here is why:

This store had 4-6 customer inside (which is not a lot). The store was literally empty. The store owners would not let more people inside with 15 or so people waiting outside in the heat.

Then a lady came by (who is part of the store management). I made a comment, "There is nobody inside, can you let more people inside"....

Her response was..."you should expect to wait during festival time"...

Basically, this store is creating artificial scarcity and give people the perception they are very busy inside, when they are not.

The saga does not end here. We walk inside and trying to place the order. The people working there would not respond. They said, "We will respond once we're done packing this order". C'mon you can at least answer questions. You don't need two people to pack one box.

Then at the time of check-out, we were patiently waiting for her turn to pay. Then suddenly one of the workers there inserts a package in front of us.

I was annoyed because this store has absolutely no process. I informed the owner and they pushed back saying they have a process.

The lady and the store owners are very very rude. I found Mr. Kishore, who is the eldest owner, to be kind and understanding. Rest of the newer, next generation owners have ZERO empathy for the customer.

They'll make you wait outside and even yell at you while you're shopping. Seriously, who yells at their customers???

Don't shop...

Rashmi sweets is synonym to quality. One can expect good quality snacks and sweets. Cost will be little on higher side but food items are fresh for sure. We can even customized snack boxes and get it delivered to any place in city without any delivery charge involved. One might even find other eatables from Gujrati cusine like Farsan, Khakra, Dhokla, Patra etc. One may even find variety of chocolates (Home made as well as branded). The staff is affable. All in all a good...

One stop destination for sweets as well as farsan. Their variety of khakhras and their Fusion flavoured rasgulla are one of its kind. From Orange and rose rasgulla to Thandai and Peru / guava flavoured rasgulla - all are brilliant and decently priced. Their chocolate dryfruits pizza and their strawberry fudge are my absolute favourites along with their Moong Dal khakra which are very ginger-y and crispy.
