It's been a critical part of my weight loss programme, and I am very grateful to the people who have created this excellent facility. However, there is one major down-side. In the monsoons, it's un-usable. When the mosaic tile flooring gets even a little bit wet, it's like walking on ice.
There has also been another recent issue. Last Saturday I saw a couple of workers rip up the floor tiles at the two road crossing areas. It took them one hour to rip up the tiles. Now, 1 week later, the piles of broken tiles are still lying exactly where they were dumped on day 1. Not a single bit of work has been done since then. Why is this?

Read moreLocated from King's circle to the next junction, the thought behind the garden need appreciation. It is the layout of river Narmada and it's surroundings. The tiles laid are different shades of blue, signifying the water. Also, all the buildings along the banks of the river have been built. There are various engraved stones as well, informing the people about the significance of each structure. It is an absolutely noble idea.
It is perfect for a stroll in the evening. There is ample place for sitting as well. With cool breeze coming through, it is a perfect place to relax for a while.
I don't recommend sitting there for long as it is on the main road and the air is quite polluted.
