The Asthika Samaj, Matunga is a wonderful temple dedicated to several deities. Having performed there for Ram Navmi myself, I can say that Asthika Samaj attracts a lot of crowd especially in the evening. The interiors of the temple are just pristine and reminds me of the various temples I have visited in Chennai (my hometown). One recommendation to the Asthika Samaj is that their sound system isn’t that great and they should really improve on it to make it a better place to give a kutcheri, but I really don’t see a reason as to why The Asthika Samaj doesn’t deserve anything below 5 stars.
Poojas and deebarthanais are conducted regularly everyday, the atmosphere in the temple is very peaceful and blissful. Asthika Samaj also puts up programs for various festivals like Ram Navmi, Navaratri and more. It’s temple that one should consider visiting regularly for peace of mind.
