We booked our journey by Tata Sia Airlines, VISTARA on 18th October '23 from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport Kolkata to Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun via Indira Gandhi International Airport T3 Delhi. The flight from Kolkata was delayed and reached Delhi at 13:10 in spite of 12:40. But astonishingly the connecting flight, even though it was the same company flight,it flew at the right time at 13:50! We reached before enough time of the connecting flight's departure. Still the management couldn't be late to board the flight!!! At Indira Gandhi International Airport T3 the drama was started. We brought in a reserved area of Vistara Airways and the officials took our boarding passes and we were seated there, with tiny water bottles distributed. Thus the officials completed their duty. We couple and more other senior citizens with other passengers sat there without any food and information about our remaining journey. After around 1 hr they sent us another place accompanied 2 - 3 ground stuffs. After some time all of us with hunger and deep anxiety started shouting and making trouble for the company officials, then around 15:30 they brought an A4 computer typing printed paper and described us they arranged a flight of INDIGO flight for our remaining journey from Delhi to Dehradun, which would start to fly 17 hr from Delhi. Then without any food or water we sent to T2, ১with a computer printed "chotha" in every one's hand. The ground stuff left us outside of the gate. Then 2 - 3 young boys in our companion passengers , made our printed boarding passes from a machine with the help of that "chotha" and we entered the scheduled terminal. We landed at our selected destination at 17:40 in spite of 14:45. These airlines are flying with a renowned brand of our country TATA, I'm very much attached to this company's management from my young age because of my service. Read moreHad my first ever flight experience.. Domestic flight, economy. Had a decent experience tbh, first time flying so i was a bit confused, was alone so i forgot where to give the baggage but they let me keep it with me in the plane with my backpack which was basically empty. Thankfully the baggage was long and wasn't heavy but it was good experience. I didn't expect any food as it was a short flight but got something, wasn't delicious, it was okay , satisfied my hunger, the water bottle was small though but i saw others asking for a 2nd one so yeah. Anyway no issues from the flight attendants, my only issue I'll say would be like the landing, it wasn't smooth. Idk if all landing is like it as it was my first flight, right when the wheels touched the ground , i felt the hydrolic shock , like ' thud ' it was quick, wasn't bad but felt like I was on my bike and got in a small gutter. Overall good experience,idk how the long flight experience feels like but yeah. Btw they need to change the girls who sit in the booking office thing or whatever, first thing you see in the airport if you enter terminal 3, whatever you ask them, they just ignore and don't answer, if it's only to answer online call, they should keep the sides closed , also the boarding was over an hour late. So fix these problems especially the arrogant workers...
Read moreThe worst airline you can travel in. They are just a money making machine don’t care about their customer service, relations or passengers. After being in line 1.15 mins prior to departure and waiting half an hour in the que to be helped, these guys told us that you are too late have to check in on hour before the flight, when we were already checked in online prior to arrival to the airport. Then the staff and manager Ajay Singh at the Delhi airport lied to us by telling us to do the security check in and get a boarding pass from inside which is a lie you cannot go through a security check in without a boarding pass. With all the false information and running around for hours the manager Ajay Singh promised us help which in turn did nothing for us. We ended up buying brand new tickets for something which isn’t our fault and caused by mismanagement of Ajay Singh. After the staff harassed us and screamed at us we were forced to get our replacement tickets because we had no choice. I will cancel my membership with them and never fly...
