Treebo Iris Suites — Hotel in Pune

I booked this hotel with a single purpose that I wanted to be close to the airport since I had to pick up someone late in the night. Nice looking pictures, smartly located property within 1.3 km from airport in a quite area, not very expensive, it ticked all the boxes. ||||All excitement and just ended there. When I reached hotel I found it is really a very basic property, room also looked okay but a close look revealed hair on pillows and bed and unchanged bedsheet below quilt. At 10:30 pm in night I had to get the linen changed before I could sit on the bed. Room was too small, one can hardly move, although it was clean. It has attached toilet which again is fairly small, the worst part of the toilet is you can easily tell what is being cooked in the kitchen, 3 floors below, exhaust fan in bathroom was too in-efficient to ventilate the smell of kitchen. It has a canteen type restaurant in the stilt parking of the building that needs significant improvement on the cleanliness and quality of furniture. Don't fall for breakfast if it being offered free, it would be better to eat out. ||||Bed was too soft for me, hence good sleep was out of question. ||||Staff is good and friendly, they agreed for late check out which I did not use, I appreciate them for their cooperation. Very poor hospitality, very poor service, very poor staff attitude,

Basic amenities are provided on a first come first serve basis, E.g : Towels, Bedsheets

Mini fridge is not provided in every room, double bed is not provided in every room, Even when the room rent is same.

Photos on the website are also misleading as rooms are not really that clean and amenities are not the same as advertised.

When confronted the manager about the issues, they potrayed and talked down to us. It was with such bad atrirude, they were telling us thay by providing us rooms, they have done us a favour and we should be happy with what ever they are providing us.

Hotel runs out of basic ingredients such as milk, bread ,etc and u will have to wait for atleast 1 1.5 hours for a coffee or tea u ordered.

An hour before u checkout time the front desk people start calling u every 5 mins asking u to quickly...

This hotel from Treebo is based at Vimannagar at a distance of 1.5 km from the Pune airport. The rooms are very quite spacious with two different areas like a bed room and a drawing room with a partition inside. The bed is comfortable and the sofa sets are quite large and comfortable too. It also has TV, AC and other basic amenities. The washroom is very small compared to the room area which is very surprising. Overall, the hotel is quite neat and clean. Even at a very late night, my check in was very smooth. The issue that I faced is only with the buffet breakfast options. The breakfast variety is pathetic and there is hardly anything apart from bread and butter and tea. They are unwilling to serve omelette also.
