This was my fourth visit to Rajputana Darbar, and once again, it proved to be a delightful dining experience. Located in Newtown, this restaurant has consistently impressed me with its delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and excellent service. We began our meal with a selection of appetizers. The Veg Spring Rolls were crispy and flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. The Drums of Heaven were a standout, with a tantalizing blend of spices and a satisfyingly crispy texture. The Chicken Tandoori was also perfectly cooked, moist and succulent with a beautiful smoky flavor. All three appetizers were delicious and set the stage for a fantastic main course. For our main course, we indulged in a variety of dishes. The Chicken Tikka Kadai Style was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of chicken in a creamy, aromatic sauce. The Chicken Tikka Zaffarani Masala, however, was the star of the show. The saffron-infused sauce was exquisite, with a delicate sweetness and a complex blend of spices that perfectly complemented the tender chicken. We paired these dishes with fragrant Jeera Rice, which was perfectly cooked and fluffy. We also ordered Tandoori Roti and Laccha Paratha, both of which were warm, soft, and delicious, ideal for scooping up the flavorful curries. A fresh Green Salad accompanied our meal, providing a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The ambiance of Rajputana Darbar is equally impressive. The lighting is soothing and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The background music was unobtrusive, allowing for easy conversation. The tables were well-maintained and spaced comfortably, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable. The staff's behavior was exemplary – they were attentive, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their knowledge of the menu was also commendable, as they were able to answer all our questions with ease. While the pricing at Rajputana Darbar is on the higher side, they frequently offer a 40% discount directly through the restaurant. Alternatively, you can often find attractive deals and discounts by booking through online platforms like Dineout, Swiggy, or District. These discounts make dining at Rajputana Darbar an excellent value proposition, especially considering the quality of the food and the...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this place and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated immediately in a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
The menu was a perfect balance of creativity and comfort, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste. We started with the kebabs, which was perfectly seasoned and set the tone for the rest of the meal. About the main course, it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The flavors were bold but balanced, and each bite felt like a new discovery.
The deserts were the perfect ending to a fantastic meal—rich, indulgent, and satisfying. I also appreciated the diverse drink menu, which included some great local wines and unique cocktails.
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a special night out or just a place to enjoy a delicious meal, this place should definitely be at the top of your list. I can't wait to return and try more of what they...
Read moreIt's a pathetic experience for us to dine there on 27th July, 2025 evening. They served uncooked kebab (hardly 30% cooked that's why telling uncooked) and after complaining they replaced but that was also semi cooked (hardly 60% cooked). Miss management, very very poor service and service time is too long. Other food quality was also bad. I think they don't have any good cook (kebab items were just worst). Even they don't have sufficient curtleries. Asking for cutlery, it take 10-15 minutes to provide in the meantime foods were getting cold. They were assorting curtleries from other tables and providing us that means they don't have sufficient staffs to wash used curtleries to place in table again. Only 3-4 staffs were just confused to manage all tables, it was not their fault it's is due to less staffs, competent cooks, bad management etc. etc. Very very bad dinning experience at Rajputana Darbar. Giving single star as there is not option for...
