recently visited Nexus Vijaya Mall (earlier Forum Vijaya Mall) at Vadapalani, Chennai – and honestly, it’s a complete all-in-one mall experience. From shopping to movies to food and fun for kids, this place has everything.

🏢 What I Found Inside

Ground Floor – To my surprise, there’s even a liquor shop (TASMAC) here. Apart from that, you’ll find big fashion outlets and lifestyle stores.

Miniso 🛍️ – Cute Japanese-style store with affordable lifestyle products, toys, and home accessories.

Spar Hypermarket 🛒 – Huge supermarket, perfect for groceries, daily needs, and household shopping.

Westside 👗 – For trendy fashion and casual wear.

🎬 Entertainment Zone

PVR Palazzo + IMAX 🍿 – Highlight of the mall. The IMAX screen experience is superb—great picture quality and sound.

Child Play Zone & Gaming Zone 🎮 – There’s a Fun City zone with toy shops, video games, and rides for kids. Families with children will definitely enjoy this section.

🍴 Food Court

The food court is really big with multiple options:

KFC 🍗, McDonald’s 🍔, Burger King 🍟, Taco Bell 🌮, Subway 🥪

South Indian favourites like Junior Kuppanna, Dosa & Co, Vasanta Bhavan

Dessert spots like Belgian Waffle, Krispy Kreme 🍩

Plenty of variety – from fast food to proper meals. Seating area is spacious but can get crowded on weekends.

Good parking facility for cars & bikes.

IMAX movie experience was excellent.

❌ Cons (What Could Be Better)

Gets very crowded during weekends.

Billing counters (especially at Spar) can be slow.

Food court rush = long waiting lines at peak hours.

The mall is situated in Arcot road , Vadapalani . It is close to Vadapalani Bus stand , green park hotel . There is an entry available through 100 feet road , adjacent to the Metro station . It is well connected to all means of public transport . It offers a good parking facility too , but expensive like any other malls .

This is one of the malls we like the most in chennai and visit it quite often . This houses all kinds of shopping brands like Lifestyle , marks and Spencer's , max , RMKV silks , Adidas , Wildcraft and others .

The food options here are also plenty , there is a food court that is available , apart from which bigger restaurants like Salt , McDonald's are in the shopping floor itself . There are also few ear outs like dominos , Bombisytan in the lower basement opposite to the hyper market .

The hyper market known as Spar located in the basement is one of the best in chennai . The important thing I liked about Spar is that the space and range of products available here . You get to move easily with the trolley even if there is good amount of crowd .

The mall houses a cinema screen named as Pallazo , which is part of the Sathyam group is one of the best cinema halls in the town with comfortable seating and movie experience .

There are some kids play area , but this is something that would need to be improved in the mall , as the options are less . Adding up bowling and snooker would be nice . But probably there is not enough space for them .
