The only reason we booked this place was owing to its proximity to SIMS HOSPITAL which was the focal point of our Chennai Visit.||Rooms are tiny and cramped. Smudges on walls. Dressing Mirror was broken and a part had come loose (broken edge was taped off though to blunt the sharpness). The "Double Bed" is rather small. We asked for twin beds, we got a tiny double bed. Apparently they don't have twin beds. We had booked a 'Deluxe Room' but apparently they have only 2 types - the small 'Deluxe' and slightly bigger that they called 'Suite'. Our Room's window overlooked the terrace of another house and hence was kept shut with curtains drawn at all times. They have clean water (which is a big problem at some places in Chennai). Basic clean bathrooms and rooms.||There is a lift available. AC worked well. They have a small TV but we couldn't find any Hindi English channel on it and we didn't really care so we didn't ask. We asked for an extra towel, it never came. Nowhere does the room tell you that you dial 9 for reception. So we called the cell number available online and placed our breakfast order. The cell phone is the owner's who took our order but never passed it on to the hotel's reception desk. We asked for breakfast at 10am. We got it close to 11am after a reminder at 10.30. The morning manager, Mr. Tanveer was polite and helpful. The owner Shamru has a bad attitude. To give credit where due, they helped us print our ticket without charge and coordinated with taxi driver in Tamil since we don't speak the language. ||They don't have their own restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is not a buffet, just 1 piece dosa idli and vada per person from the Murugan Idli Shop which is an independent venture run adjacent to the hotel's so-called lobby. There was a hot kettle in the room but no tea coffee sugar or creamer sachets. They give you a jug of water (not bottled).||We booked online for 1966 per night. We were getting Hotel Bhimas at the same rate which after staying here we realised would have been a far better option in terms of accommodation and food (we have used both hotels recently). In front of us a walk-in customer got the same room for 1800 or even lesser.||24 hour check-in/ check-out is a definite benefit if you are going to use for latter half of first day and first half of second day so u don't end up paying...

This time when they went to the same hotel because it was near to the SIMS hospital the staff of the hotel behaved very badly. They asked my parents to pay more and since my parents didn’t knew the Tamil language he started shouting and abusing by saying that my parents were lying about the price of the hotel. Behaviour was extremely bad. Your business is generated only because of tourists and guests and if you can’t treat them well then shame on you and your behaviour and on your existence. I never wanted to give a review like this. But because of this hotel they had to suffer a lot. That same day they had to travel back to Bengaluru as because they didn’t book any other place. And before making the booking to this hotel the receptionist was not even picking up the call. Since my father was a previous customer so he had texted in WhatsApp and the staff mentioned that okay rooms are avail able. When i showed him the text and asked him whose number was it he deleberately said it’s not their no. But when i called it was hotel’s number. They had to suffer a lot because of this hotel. They are aged people and instead of helping them because they were new to the city they were humiliated by the people of the city .You should be shameful of your act. Cheating people and earning money. I know that even though i am writing this review no action will be taken against it. But guys whoever choose to stay in this hotel better don’t. Instead you may find better hotels who will be more safer to stay and hygenic and well mannered as well.The manager in the reception was very bad and was not safe at all. Guys it’s my sincere request do not even think to book this hotel. They are scammers. Charging 2000 for non AC when the condition of the place is horrible with no proper security. When my father said that last time they had given a AC room which was 1400 because they were referred to this hotel by an SIMs employee.
