Douglas village shopping centre complex has a difficult car park to negotiate, unlike Douglas Court which is all at ground level. It has a narrow entry point and has poor lighting in my opinion when you get to the parking floors. It is quite tricky for motorists and shoppers alike. Keep your wits about you. Many drivers are lazy and do not want to go up to higher tiers because of time saving, but ironically go round in circles on the first tier until they get that coveted space and waste more time and hold everybody up and their own. A lot of horn-blowing goes on and traffic can be backed up all the down the ramp to street level. It also has every dangerous and sharp overhang edges (immediately underneath the travelators-escalators which bring people into the shopping area) ; where shopping trolleys are located or stored. I am NOT referring to the lifts here. Warnings just say "mind your head in black and yellow tape" instead of also having foam on them, in case you do. You can get a very bad bang or gash on the head — so be very careful to look out for them. They should really do something to stop people banging their heads and throw a big more light in the parking area. It's not a great design, but at least there is a sprinkler system their now after a fire consumed the first floor of the car park on August 31st 2019. Good few shops there though, but not the easiest place to get in or out of and a nightmare...

Douglas Shopping Center has become our go-to destination for a well-rounded shopping experience. Tesco serves as a reliable spot for groceries, offering a diverse selection. The presence of a farmers market adds a delightful touch, providing fresh produce and local goods.

TK Maxx adds a flair of fashion and variety, making it convenient for clothing and accessories. The book exchange is a hidden gem, offering a diverse collection for avid readers.

The center's diverse offerings cater to a range of needs, making it a one-stop destination. The convenience of having multiple stores in one location, coupled with the variety of choices, has solidified Douglas Shopping Center as our preferred shopping hub. It truly encapsulates the essence of convenience and variety for our...

I was there today, 27/05/22. And stopped to make a quick meal in one place close to the Tesco (inside the mall) and first because was opened I started my order and discovered wasn't possible roast one sandwich because the time for close is 4pm, I stopped there 4:15pm, if the time was 4pm for closed why accept my order? Second point, one person, I believe was the management started the process to clean the place with the customers eating inside. If wasn't possible for the customers seating inside, inform them before we going inside for seat. Was really disappointing for me the food. The Tesco.express is really impressive but the staff wasn't so gentle...

Slowly but surely becoming BETTER. I view it as a proper shopping centre since they brought in the food court... Shops like TK Max, M&S and Tesco bring up its appeal. The library is a fabulous resource for adults&children alike. (Personal Favourite is the Card Factory ✨️ ) Good range of eateries with varied cuisines 🍣 🍲🥞 Parking options are excellent🅿️ Children's play area is super handy!

Small shopping centre in the heart of Douglas Village. They have a big Tesco, TK Max and Mark's and Spencer shop. There are other smaller shops and cafés on site. There's also a travel agents, chemist and Butcher's too. They have a barber's and hairdresser's on site too. Parking and access is good.
