ALDI — Local services in County Clare

Yikes, the team leader/manager that was working on the 25th of June in the afternoon needs some serious hostility training. Picked up a packet of biscuits and when I got to the till the man couldnt scan them so he called over the man mentioned above . He asked me did I know how much they were, I said no. He then proceeded to tell me he could give them to me for 2.99 or he could put them back. Why are you making up prices ? You can't just randomly come up with that price. He said it was old stock and it wouldnt scan(not my problem)I said no thanks and was in the middle of telling him they were actually out of date(only saw the date when he was trying to scan them) and he preceeded to completely ignore me and just walk away. Extremely unprofessional and honestly an embarrassing encounter. Will be thinking twice about...

It is a rather small Aldi, so don't expect that the whole portfolio you got in a bigger one is stocked or all specialbuys available. However it is a very well managed Aldi, checkouts will open very quickly so there is hardly ever a longer waiting line. The staff exceeds in friendliness and the place, though you can see its a wee bit dated is always clean. Do not go there before, during or after a GAA match as the place is adjacent to the county stadium and despite not allowed, the parking lot overcrowded with the cars of spectators. A further plus would also be, if the staff could do spot checks if the parents and children parking is actually used by by parents with small children but that might be a bit much asked... overall a good place for...

Today at ennis branch at 2pm poorly stocked. Nothing in the super 6 area bar carrots. Low on a lot of fresh meats I managed to grab the last bag of mozzarella! Was really busy with only 3 tills open with tills 4&5 only opening for a short while and closing again within 10 mins and I'm still cuing up! Then there card reader wouldn't work properly and it took the guy over 5 mins to reboot it and then had to hold my card wedged in to read it. 5 mins or so don't sound long on here but when ur done and packed up and the que is down the shop then it seemed like a lifetime with everybody looking. Not a good...
