First time at Sweet and Green and honestly I wouldn't be going back. The food was mediocre at best. We were both going to get the fish but were told there was none as the fish didn't arrive that day!!! My chicken was rubbery and tough plus it was luke warm at best. The noodles were bland and the fennel was thin shavings. Very disappointed. But I ate it as I was starving because I skipped breakfast. Portion size was good, it was a pity about the blandness. Both lunches were €14 each plus the added cost of coffees and sparkling water. My friend had falafel with a poached egg. Again just okay. The coffee was weak and Luke warm and I'm a major coffee drinker so another disappointment. I have disability issues with walking. We got a couch downstairs, I'm not a fan of low seating and trying to eat when I can hardly bend so it was a challenge. I propped myself up with cushions. If I was using my wheelchair I wouldn't have had a hope in accessing this establishment so id advise all wheelchair users to avoid this establishment. It does have a "disabled" toilet but it's not suitable for a wheelchair at all. My friend I was with was disappointed as she was bringing me out. One server was very nice the other didn't even make eye contact and practically dumped the food. All in all a lack luster disappointing lunch.

I visited this cafe after a recommendation on asking for somewhere to go for breakfast before I had to get back on the road. It definitely did not disappoint. Hidden away down a side path on Ennis main street, this gem of a cafe had amazing food, coffee, homemade bread and an amazing homemade hummus that the wonderful host Siobhan gave me to take home! I stayed longer than I thought, reading my book and then chatting with the lovely ladies working there just because of how nice it all was! I'll definitely be back to Ennis again just to experience this place again.

A delicious, fresh and healthy spot! We stopped in on our way to Lahinch. Ordered the Coronation Chicken Sandwich, Sourdough Toastie, Toonsbridge Halloumi Wrap, and the Avo and Eggs, and everyone really enjoyed their food. For drinks we had the turmeric shot, carrot orange juice, kombucha, tea, and a mocha. The mocha was delicious. Highly recommend! Only issue is make sure you have time to wait, they seated us right away, but we couldn’t order for 15-20 minutes.

I asked for the avo and eggs but I didn’t want the bread and asked for a side of smoked salmon instead. I was served 2 poached eggs, a ramekin of smoked salmon and lettuce. When we went to pay I told them I didn’t get the avocado yet they charged us €17 for this plate of 2 poached eggs, ramekin of smoked salmon and lettuce. It didn’t feel right so I did query the price the girl was friendly and said she would ask a manager the other girl making coffees assured us this wasn’t right and they would refund us from the till. Unfortunately the lady who came to speak with us was very defensive telling us that we can’t be doing swaps of items especially on a Saturday. I explained that I just didn’t want the bread and wanted to add salmon but as I didn’t get the avocado either I don’t think €17 can be justified. She then opened the till handed us €1.50 and said ā€˜that will cover the avocado’. We got no apology and were made to feel like we were an inconvenience for even questioning it. This place is popular and we’ve had lovely visits before but after this encounter we will visit many of the other cafes that offer breakfasts at a more reasonable cost and are happy to accommodate simple swaps. The young girl who served us originally was...

I've been here a few times. I always bring new people with me. But the last two times I have been there, I have to say the service was just so bad I don't think I'll return. We were waiting for a table. The host said there were no free tables and we'd be better off leaving, although we could see a few empty tables. I said we would wait as we were the only people in the queue. She said it would be at least 30 mins to an hour wait and again suggested we leave. I said we didn't mind and that we would get a coffee while we waited. We were told we couldn't sit down for a coffee if we wanted food. I said we could come back in 15mins. She said it's first come first serve and that if we left we would go back to the end of the queue. So we decided to wait as we were the only people in the queue. Shortly after that a group of 4 people come in, to our amazement she seated them straight away. When I asked her about this she just ignored me and again told us we'd be better off going somewhere else. I am so disappointed in the service I definitely won't...
