Absolutely disgusting service, A Disappointing and Unacceptable Dining Experience. ​My party of four recently visited your establishment hoping to enjoy a roast dinner. Unfortunately, what began as a simple meal turned into an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience due to a complete lack of customer service. ​After we ordered our meals, I inquired if roast potatoes were included with the roast. I was informed by our server that you had run out. While this was disappointing, what was truly shocking was the server's sarcastic response when I pointed out that it wasn't our fault. They said, "Do you want to ask the chef?" This sarcastic and unhelpful attitude was the first sign of a breakdown in communication. ​When I requested to speak with a manager, a gentleman came over. I calmly explained the situation, and he said he would speak with the chef. However, before a resolution could be reached, a second manager (a woman) came to our table and immediately asked, "What is the issue with us?" I calmly explained the situation again, only for her to begin taking away our menus and telling us that if we didn't like it, we didn't have to eat there. She then accused us of being rude to her staff and "causing a scene." ​I immediately pointed out that it was she who was causing a scene, as I had been speaking in a respectful and low tone. Her demeanor was hostile and confrontational, and it was clear from her voice that she was very angry. In an attempt to find a compromise, I suggested a complimentary plate of sweet potatoes. She completely ignored my reasonable request and simply walked away with our menus. ​This entire interaction was handled with a shocking lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. The behavior of both the server and the second manager was completely unacceptable. The female manager, in particular, displayed no customer service or management skills whatsoever. Instead of trying to find a solution, she escalated the situation, made false accusations, and chose to be combative rather than helpful. She single-handedly turned a minor inconvenience into a situation that made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. We left your establishment feeling appalled by the behavior of your staff. We will not be returning and will be sharing our experience...

Y'all. My burger came with no bun. Now see this why I visit most places a couple a times before I write a review. Ennis has never been be most diverse place in terms of food options and for the most part I have been ok with that because all the food is good. Usually. But I am not finna eat no tampered with food. I don't like that. Had to check the fries, the woo woo. Girl I can't eat none of it. 39 euros to spend on my self this week ,23.40 on this and when I called, she offered to send me over a bun. Yes, really. The potential that someone was either careless or tampered with my food had been introduced and they're offering up a bun??? Listen I ordered a hamburger. I got an open meat patty with some cheese. I did not get what I paid for. A refund or new burger even would've been fine. But I get offered, a bun. If I wanted to assemble my own food I would've bought the ingredients and cooked it. Ah the way I have loved this place, from its food to the decor to the cocktails. The betrayal is real. And the customer service re: complaints trash. First Nicki Minaj now this. You're after taking a bad day and making it...

We went to the Abbey Saturday at 7.30 pm for dinner, we were shown the table and given the menus upstairs. From that moment 40 minutes went by before I had to get up and ask a waiter to come take the order. After the order we waited until 8.55 pm when the food was served. I ordered scampi but instead I was served deep over fried prawns which tasted like rubber, the mushy peas were like glue, I ordered a pint of guinness which arrived when we finished the food. Regarding cutlery and napkins after the starters, weren't given to us so we took them from an empty table. My friends weren't much luckier and everyone agree the quality of food was appealing. It was the worse meal we had in a long time in Ennis and certainly we won't get back to this place! I felt sorry for the young waitresses who are left alone to apologise. Nobody seemed in charge...
