O'Sullivan Safety Ltd — Local services in Dublin

Having been a loyal customer over the past few years and having spent a significant amount with your business, I was very disappointed with the service I received during my recent visit.

Around three weeks ago, I visited your store and purchased a number of items, including a number of hats and a Blaklader sweatshirt. At the time, I expressed my interest in having these items embroidered with my company logo. However, I was informed that the embroidery service was temporarily unavailable due to the provider being on holiday. Given this, I decided to purchase just one sweatshirt and a few safety baseball caps, which I needed urgently, and I made it clear that I would return in a few weeks to purchase more items and get everything embroidered together.

When I returned today to buy additional tee shirts and another sweatshirt, I requested the embroidery service for all the items, including the sweatshirt and hats I had purchased previously. To my surprise, I was told that embroidery could only be done on new garments, and that the previously purchased sweatshirt was now ineligible.

This was not communicated to me during my initial visit. Had I been made aware of this policy, I would have either waited to purchase everything together or made different arrangements. I feel this lack of clear information led to unnecessary inconvenience and expense on my part.

I hope you take this feedback on board and ensure clearer communication for future customers. I would appreciate it if someone could follow up with me...

Went in today looking to pick up items for college and was able to get all I needed thanks to Linda! She handled many customers at once, and was still able to be extremely attentive and helpful - and made the extra effort to look for items not on the shop floor. All of this along with her lovely attitude made shopping a great experience....
