Chuan City — Restaurant in Dublin

I was in your restaurant with 2 of my friends on Wednesday. The service was absolutely awful. We waited about 30 minutes for someone to come over and ask for our drink order then we had to remind him 20 minutes later that we ordered drinks. The restaurant had a small amount of people in it. We ordered food that also took 40 minutes for a starter to come out. The food was lovely that was the only good thing. We finished our starters and while waiting for our main we got another round of drinks. We waited about an hour for 3 plates of mains to come out and they all came out at different times. I had an absolutely great experience here tonight. The food was fine, and the service was of a high standard. The ambience was fantastic and relaxing. I love sweet sauce, so I really enjoyed their sweet and sour tofu and roasted duck.

I was pleasantly surprised by the staff’s skill in serving wine.

They are also preparing for Valentine’s Day tomorrow, so I’m definitely coming back for dinner with my wife.

Lastly, I need to give five stars for their tidy dining atmosphere, new tablecloths, prepared cutlery, and the provision of tap water as soon as we sat down. Everything here gave me a high-standard dining experience.

We went there to celebrate the Chinese New year. I have been to China 15 times now so I know what real Chinese food is. The food in Chuan City is real, proper Chinese food. we also got Sushi (Japanese I know) and it was the BEST Sushi I ever had !!!. What can I say to sum up Chuan City?, well - The food is AMAZING, the price is Great, the staff are super nice and genuinely helpful and friendly, I HIGHLY Recommend Chuan City if you want to experience real Chinese food (and amazing Sushi). One of a few truly Great Chinese Restaurants in Dublin. I cant recommend them highly enough. Not 5 star...
