the debut studio album by English-American rock band the Jimi Hendrix Experience(pictured). Released in 1967, the LP was an immediate critical and commercial success, and it is widely regarded as one of the greatest debuts in the history of rock music. Featuring Jimi Hendrix's songwriting and electric guitar playing, the album established a new direction in psychedelic and hard rock music. Are You Experienced and its preceding singles were recorded between late October 1966 and early April 1967. Released in the UK in May, the album spent 33 weeks on the charts, peaking at number two. The US release, issued in August, contained some of Hendrix's best-known songs, including the Experience's first three singles: "Purple Haze", "Hey Joe", and "The Wind Cries Mary". Both the US and UK versions included "Foxy Lady". In 2005, Rolling Stoneranked Are You Experienced 15th on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. (Full article...)

Read moreShops are good, Very sad to see that the Clarke's shop has permanently closed Now though. The Major Bad Point here is that the Upstairs Disabled Toilet in the Ladies, is ALWAYS CLOSED now ? I spoke to the person at the Central desk about this a few weeks ago, and explained to them that as it's the Only Disabled one up in the Ladies, it NEEDS To be Open At All Times. I was told it would be "Looked Into." There is a sign on the door of That cubicle saying it's closed "Due to Social Distancing," But if should be the one Beside it which is kept permanently closed off instead, as there are Literally Dozens of toilets up there for Able Bodied People, this is Discrimination against Disable People, and just Not Good Enough. If a Disabled woman like myself, goes up to use the toilets with her able bodied Daughters, she Needs to be able to just have access to one, and Not Have to either then Wait - If she's physically Able to, Or Rush back into the lift and go to the one Downstairs. Come On Marshes Management ? This has gone...
Read moreExcellent shopping centre! Has something for everyone! Dunne’s stores to the the weekly shopping! Boots for pharmaceutical needs. A food court that has loads! Burger King. Subway, bagel bar etc! Loads of clothes shops etc! The building itself looks amazing in my opinion and it’s always very clean! Lots or parking but again it’s somewhere where your custom is not enough and they charge you for parking! So meeting someone for a coffee etc is a no here! Go to the new costa at the super value for that! Something to bare in mind as the retail park is free also and also the newly revamped Tesco’s! but again if you do your shopping in Dunne’s parking is free! I would recommend the marshes for a great few hours shopping! But try and go before the kids are out of school as they all hang out here but in all fairness security don’t...
