KFC Dundalk - Marshes Shopping Centre — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Dundalk

I had a pretty bad experience in the Marshes KFC, ill never go into it again. I ordered a meal, it was accepted & I paid, the girl taking my order was lovely & she was clearly new staff. Another girl at the desk took over my order from there (bagging it up ect) When my order was ready and I went up to the counter to collect it, I looked in the bag and saw that it wasnt what I ordered which is no big deal, this isnt my complaint but I said to the girl who bagged my order that is was wrong & i ordered a different type of chicken & I didnt get the gravy I ordered. The girl got really defensive & told me that I didnt pay for gravy.. I didnt really know what to say, just said that I wanted gravy, she said 'so you want a gravy now' like I was inconveniencing her (I was the only person there ordering food) I said yes, and I also want the chicken I ordered. She said they only have one piece of the chicken I ordered and I said thats fine, ill just take that but she said no, they dont sell one piece meals & id already paid so she cant change it now, I said im not paying for a meal I didnt order & I didnt want the chicken that they gave me, I said if they didnt have what I ordered they should have told me before I paid. She went and got the manager, the manager was just as irritated with me and told me the girl who took my order is new, I said thats ok but I just want what I ordered. She questioned me like I was lying and asked me If I "specifically asked for that chicken" like I was making it up just to annoy them. She said ill have to wait 20 minutes for them to cook what I wanted, I said its grand ill just take a refund. The whole thing was such an ordeal. They could have just gave me the one peice of chicken, thrown in the gravy and it would have cost in or around the same price as id already paid so whats the big deal? She took the chicken out of the bag and put them back on the oven rack & the bag of chips were small & there was no one else there besides me. In the end I got a refund but it was such an ordeal, all that over some chicken!...

FYI- This review is for KFC in town parks, it keeps changing to the marshes We were going to have our tea here with the kids for a treat. The place is well decorated but it was empty (at 6pm) and all the staff seemed to be working the drive through. I took my daughter to the toilet & there wasn’t a bit of toilet roll. I went to the counter to see if I could get a napkin & they were empty also. Needless to say we skipped food & ate elsewhere. Very...

im back this time on the marshes kfc i have to say much nicer than kfc in muirhevnamor and staff was great too i purchased a 4 in 1 from new greatwall at this kfc.. it was scrumptious. All though its not even their own companys food it was delightful the man who served me was. a tall black gentleman and he had very gentle hands:)he works for both kfc and new greatwall if u ask for a 4 in 1 at this establishment they have them...
