A really beautiful collection of ruins (both Roman and Etruscan) and a lovely museum, well worth the visit for the astonishing collection of pottery upstairs - the bucchero was in particular some of the best I’ve seen, really beautiful.
A bargain for entry to wander around, and much more peaceful than a museum with similar pieces would be in Florence.
The walk from Florence was pleasant and had some fantastic views - no loose dogs and only a very short section without pavement, doable at a relaxed pace in about 1hr 20 from city centre, so I recommend to anyone looking for a break...

There were very few people in the park and it was a welcome change after the crowds of Florence. The museum is also very informative (and unexpectedly big!).
