Did not like the service, drinks or their food.

No aperol or any cocktails, no liquor choice. When I asked for a sauce I was just told “no” and waiter just walked off. When I asked for a cocktail or liquor I was told “we are not a bar” next comment to my friend “go to the bar and check what we have”, isn’t it your job to tell us what you have at the bar? We paid around €300 and we ordered a lot of things, least you can do is be nice.

Waiter said ice cream and gelato is the same thing as after made a comment “apparently ice cream” when he brought it to the table.

I’m not an American, but surely a place with a chair which has an American flag would know the meaning of ice cream and the difference between gelato. Maybe not.

In conclusion, don’t talk to tourists like they are stupid and maybe people will appreciate your place more despite your poor food and...

Absolutely fabulous. This is the fifth time in five years that we've been here, and the food, atmosphere, and service has always been top notch. Their reputation for some of the best bistecca fiorentina in Florence is well deserved. Our 2-inch thick 30 day dry-aged Chianina t-bone came served standing on end and the waiter carved it at the table for us. It really almost melts in your mouth. If you're a steak lover and have never tried dry aged beef, there's no better place to start than Perseus. We've also had their lasagna and riboletta soup; all excellent. Have been hoping to eat in their back courtyard, but have not made it....

Recommended by a local friend, this place is on the plaza and as perfect as a setting can be. One waiter though has 3-5 staff who are overwhelmed, and not enamored of Sunday Tourists. Perfect food though- a simple meal of salt Baccalao Livorno garnished with a slice of a Tuscan pink grapfruit. Spaghetti Vongole, no complications. Great earthenware, sunshine and decent food. It was not pricey enough to remember what we paid. The waiter, bless his soul, admitted to being cranky. Dessert must be 200m up the street at the pastry shop…...
