Pasticceria Magrì — Local services in Livorno

First of all, this IS the place you have been looking for. We spotted the famous pastrychef outside in the parking lot. That being said, the pastries of this shop are indeed delicious, and very reasonably priced. The entire staff is very friendly and it’s not too crowded. The parking possibilities are very convenient. While I spotted a few wasps (as other reviews mentioned), it was nothing out of the ordinary and would be the same in other places. What a nice café! Oustanding quality of pastries and good coffee. The service was great and the atmosphere was family-like and relaxed. I don't understand the recent bad reviews: we spotted only very few wasps on the pastries (which is totally normal for this time of year and has absolutely no effect on food quality, the nerve of some people :-)...), the service people were super friendly, and it is definitely the café of Alberto Magri, we saw him and he was also very friendly. Questa mattina siamo stati in questo bar e devo dire che merita 5 stelle per gentilezza e cibo il pezzo forte secondo me sono i maritozzi super farciti di panna freschissima un esplosione di goduria buono anche il cappuccino, lo consiglio fortemente e presto ci tornerò per replicare con il famoso MARITOZZO. Aggiorniamo 15/08/2024 questa mattina ci siamo recati a fare colazione, appena entrati chiediamo 2 maritozzi perché nn erano in vetrina in quel momento c'era solo un ragazzo a servire e molto scortese nei modi ci dice No categorico e un po' infastidito forse aveva le sue ragioni per esserlo lavorare di Ferragosto lo sarei pure io. Cmq ordino altre cose e continua a borbottare (premesso che mia moglie ha manifestato il suo disappunto del fatto che nn ci volesse servire i maritozzi, quando in passato è capitato che nn ci fossero e delle barriste gentili ce le servirono andando in laboratorio a prenderle), io penso di essere stato una persona educata facendo finta di niente però mi sono ripromesso che nn ci sarà una prossima volta perché gli rispondo a tono e magari chiederò di parlare cn il titolare Peccato perché le colazioni SN buonissime peccato per chi le serve che rovina il tutto Le donne hanno una marcia in più rispetto a noi uomini che non sappiamo comportarsi come si deve.
