If you live in Lucca and want a curry you're going to have problems! There isn't much "foreign" food available, which is a shame as with a multicultural environment it would be great to get to sample different foods. This place provides a bit of a solution as they stock a variety of ingredients from different countries including a great selection of spices and curry sauces. I love Italian food - and Italians are justifiably proud of it - but I miss the greater variety of flavours that can be found in other countries and it just seems a shame that more Italians do not get to sample more diverse...
