Supermercato Despar Centostazioni — Local services in Trieste

I occasionally stop by this Despar. Obviously, it's very convenient to have one in the station, and they sell the right stuff for a quick (or even a long) train journey. You can simply grab something and catch your train. Also, an important detail for Italy, imho, they have cold beer in the fridge. It is usually difficult to find cold beer in the supermarkets. I understand the reasoning behind this, but it's still a shame. So, it's all about finding out where to get a cheeky cold one. I don't know which one makes you more of an alcoholic in Italian standards, being able to get wine everywhere whenever you want, or the looking into the availability of cold beer in a supermarket. Piccolo ma ben fornito. Ideale per una spesetta al volo. reparto verdure e frutta essenziale ma ok, banco formaggi adeguato mentre per la carne fresca non è granché sia come scelta, poca, che come qualità. Fornitissimo il reparto drogheria, specie se serve una spazzola o un accessorio prima di partire... dolcetti sempre presenti, ideale per chi vuole portare un presente o semplicemente mangiarseli durante il viaggio. Piccolo market all'interno della stazione. E' una vera manna per chi come me, si trova spesso a dover aspettare alcune ore tra una coincidenza e l'altra. In questo supermercato c'è una vasta scelta di piatti pronti (sia primi che secondi) sandwiches, pizzette, insalate, macedonie e dolci take away.
