Filthy outside and Inside. In the fresh veggies and fruit section The salad and fruit has fungus growing visibly on the produce. More than a supermarket it appears to be a warehouse. I asked the store “responsibilities. personal “ Antonella D.S. twice this week when fresh Vegetables were due to arrive - she looked very uneasy when I pointed out to her that the supposed to be fresh food items had fungus growing on the veggies and fruit. I just left the supermarket and there wasn’t anything changed this entire week and the rotten veggies were still on sale. . Also the folks in the neighbourhood have noticed that the staff changes very frequently . ( Normally a sign that they are not being paid their salary) Aldi supermarket on Viale G. Mazzini had a great Staff some months ago that were very professional and organised.. My family were happy to shop there for a longtime. . But this entire summer of 2023 not only us but our neighbours have decided to shop elsewhere. Even if it mean’s having to take the car. For other fellow North Americans and Visitors- take my advice and don’t risk food poisoning . Nearby there are many good clean professional safe supermarkets. On Via Roma or Via Torino...

Sono una cliente abituale dato che abito molto vicino. Spesso passo solo per prendere qualche piccola cosa, come i fiori o il pane. L'ultima volta ho avuto un problema e sono rimasta allibita dal modo di gestirla da parte del direttore. In estrema sintesi, ho passato la spesa alla cassa automatica e per un problema tecnico dopo il pagamento non è uscito lo scontrino. A questo punto ho chiesto supporto al direttore il quale mi ha detto che sicuramente l'addebito non era andato a buon fine e che avrei dovuto ripagare tutto. In seguito apple pay non mi ha più consentito di pagare in quanto vedeva un addebito doppio e ho quindi lasciato il supermercato senza la merce. Nella settimana seguente sono tornata più volte per capire come fare per avere indietro la somma che effettivamente mi era stata addebitata ma dapprima mi è stato chiesto di tornare e infine mi è stato risposto che lui non aveva trovato un surplus di cassa e che quindi era tutto regolare. Peccato che io abbia passato i prodotti e pagato, quindi ovviamente non potrebbe esserci un surplus. Il problema non è solo lil disguido per il quale mi sono stati sottratti dei soldi, ma soprattutto come sono stata trattata dopo: costretta a lasciare la mia spesa e insistere per avere indietro una somma indebitamente pagata. Una menzione speciale sia all'addetto alla sicurezza che agli altri impiegati del supermercato che invece si sono prodigati per capire se potessero aiutarmi in qualche modo...forse il direttore potrebbe imparare qualcosa dalle persone che...

I'm in Italy for school and didn't know where to go grocery shopping. So I went to a supermarket I knew. They had everything I was looking for and pretty cheap as well. Very friendly employees and able to speak English with me.
