Edited and updated : I regret to say that my recent dining experience at this establishment was an absolute disappointment. The quality of the food has gone downhill and the portions have shrunk. The ingredients used were far from fresh and lacked any sort of flavor. I was appalled by the sushi that was served to me - if that's what their "chef" calls sushi, then they clearly have no idea what they're doing. It was an insult to the art of sushi-making.
To make matters worse, the miso soup was also disappointing, with no depth of flavor or care in its preparation. It was clear that no effort was put into the preparation of the dishes, and it is a shame to see a once-promising establishment fall so far.
When I brought up my concerns to the staff, they did not make any effort to correct the situation or make it right. It was as if they didn't even care about the quality of their food or the satisfaction of their customers. It's safe to say that I will never be returning to this establishment and will be seeking out a new sushi spot that actually cares about the quality and integrity of...
Read moreThis rating is based on comparing to other sushi buffet places in Vicenza.
FOOD: The best dish was the fried spring rolls. They looked fresh and home made. Inside was full of vegetables and crunchiness on each bite. Both spicy and miso soup were bland and needed more flavor. Sushi rolls were not consistent. Some rice were warm and some were cold and also too much rice in my opinion. However, salmon and shrimp tasted good.
SERVICE: Good service. They were attentive and food came out quick.
PRICE: Average like all other sushi buffet places. 12.90 with 2 euro coperto.
LOCATION: Not a good location. Easy to find, but no dedicated parking. You might have to search for a parking spot.
MISC: ordering is done through IPAD. Very modern and convenient. Plus for using technology to their advantage.
OVERALL: Everything was ok but being a sushi place, sushi should be given the highest rating. Maybe others had better...
Read moreThis is a really neat all-you-can-eat style sushi and Japanese Asian Fusion restaurant. They have sushi, rice dishes, meat dishes, pot stickers, gyoza, you name it. To order you use this nifty iPad and a waiter will come out with the portion. We went for lunch on a weekday and for our group of 4, when we separated out the bill it was roughly 16 euros a person. Not bad for all you can eat sushi! The one thing that I would critique is that one of the sushi dishes I ordered came out at slightly above room temperature, like it had been sitting out a bit. When it comes to raw fish ingredients, they need to be kept cool or there is a risk of foodborne illness. So be aware of that and check to make sure your fish is at the correct...
