Kamegawa Sujiyu onsen — Local services in Beppu

Nice very local onsen! Entrance by donation (donation box located at the entrance). You need to bring your own shampoos and towel. Operating hours 07:00-19:00, no parking. The building is very cute and old with green color, there is a big sign next to the entrance explaining a bit about the history of the place, in English and Japanese. The changing area is just next to the bath, its only a small narrow path with squeaky wooden planks and the wooden boxes to put your stuff. The tub is small to medium size, made of concrete but has big nice wooden planks at its bottom, it is placed by the wall and there is very little space around it to wash up plus you need to be careful because it is very easy to splash water at the changing area. The walls are painted green which gives a nostalgic retro feeling. 近くの四の湯温泉に入浴しようとフラついてたのですが、ちょうど昼営業終了間近だったので以前から気になっていた筋湯温泉へ。 私が入った日は、お湯の温度が別府にしてはぬるめで、15分ほど浸かっていられました。 桶のみ設置で、その他のアメニティは持参。 料金は賽銭方式。200円投入しました。 浴室内は、脱衣場一体型で、洗い場は手狭な印象。 湯の跳ね返りに気を遣いました。 見た目といい、中身といい年季が入っていて、ルールなども手書きで趣のある共同温泉です︎︎👍🏻 温泉道のスタンプ、干からびてました😭‎ それだけがちょっと残念ポイントですね。 まだ11湯目。 どんどんコツ...
