Chuodo Shimo Yoshida — Local services in Fujiyoshida

This pick up for buses to town from mt fuji is very isolated. Even in the day, it looked deserted. Google map suggested this location to take a bus after visiting chureito Pagoda, that is because you users selected the nearest and shortest distance to travel, don't blame google, i chose the same selection too. It's really not advisable for single ladies to choose this location, go back mt fuji station or a station before that and buy your tickets there, otc. This bus stop, is really.... a bus stop, nothing else, you MUST have a ticket bought earlier, else you can forget getting on a bus. I got mine from busta shinjuku round ticket and was fortunate i did that. I was regretting it at first as my trip became very inflexible as i needed to abide by the return timing, but when i saw that location, and seeing one local Japanese girl and a young tourist guy couldn't get up the bus as they didn't have a ticket (or couldn't get a ticket online as that bus was full), i began to realise the round ticket i got, was really a blessing. Don't go to this location please, it's a scary place to wait...

Do not come to this station without reserve bus tickets. Google map keeps telling people to take buses here and showing it is a quicker route. But they don’t sell tickets here. This is a really small bus stop. Bus is pretty much fully booked when it reaches here. We used the website on posted picture to reserve our tickets. Had to wait at bus stop for almost 2 hours for our bus. While we were waiting a lot people came here without reservations. And when they try to book online around 18:20, all bus tickets were sold out for the night. They had to go to train station to take trains. Hope this will help some travelers to save some run around a....

This is the spot to take the highway bus back to Tokyo. I mistakenly thought this was the Shimoyoshida Station but it is the Chuo do Shimo Yoshida Expressway stop.

I gave myself enough time to figure it out. You bust a left when you leave Shimoyoshida Station and walk a bit of a distance then a left, another left and go through a tunnel and turn right all the way down until you see the staircase leading up to the stop. See pic taken from the station for birdeye view. You need prepaid reservation to get on the bus. But there is a sign that they will allow boarding if there are vacant seats. Hope this...
