It's a very quiet, and clean shrine sitting just behind Yokogawa station, and away from the busy streets. I felt at peace giving my prayers, and the goshuin seal is 500 yen. It can be collected upon request by ringing the door, where you can wait in a seating area and look at other gifts and amulets. There's also a large display case here with trinkets and treasures found in Japan. It was interesting to look at. I recommend Misasa shrine for anyone looking for a serene place in Hiroshima as well as...

Quiet shrine to listen to birdsong along backstreet in Yokogawa.

Not a big shrine, but pathway lined with beautiful lanterns, stone + wooden structures as well as religious symbols and good luck charms.

Shrine buildings are surrounded by birds chirping and colorful flowers + trees.

2024年大晦日21時過ぎに早詣しました。

参道入口は表側も裏手も提灯がズラリと掲げられ明るいです。 境内もあちこちライトアップされ、暗闇に社が美しく浮かび上がります。

もしかしたら御朱印がいただけるかも…と思いましたが誰もいません。拝殿も扉が閉まってました。 元日に備えて神社の方も休まれているのでしょう。

静寂の暗闇。明るく浮かび上がる神社。とても幻想的です。 夜にお参りするのは、神様も寝ているので失礼になります。普段は真っ暗です。 でも大晦日なら。夜分の参拝を心中でしっかりお詫びして拝礼。
