This kimono shop is absolutely phenomenal. The store owner and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. We had previously rented kimonos from another shop and had a relatively good experience, but this shop was exceptional and the quality was so much higher. We found this store by happenstance after walking back from a vintage kimono shop, and I'm so glad we did. We bought my mom a beautiful kimono as a gift and returned the next day to do rentals for ourselves. The attention to detail when they did my kimono was amazing, everything was very high quality and top notch, I absolutely loved my kimono. The lady who dressed me did such a phenomenal job and worked so hard to make sure everything looked beautiful! The store owner did my makeup and hair and I loved it all (and so did my boyfriend)! I felt so beautiful, which is rare for me as I'm not usually the type to dress up and I never wear make up, but this whole experience was worthwhile and I enjoyed every moment. Very wonderful shop! They were help and efficient from start to finish. The shop may be hard to fine since the name and address is mostly in Japanese but is was not a very far walk from the shrine. Keep in mind it is on the first floor because there is another one you’ll see first but it is on the second or third floor. Also, they will offer you hair and accessories without talking about price (it’s all posted) so just be aware. If you don’t want to keep adding cost, you’ll just have to be proactive and decline. But otherwise I highly recommend this shop if you want to look absolutely fabulous running...
