Fusion Restaurant ECLAT — Restaurant in Niseko

Takoyaki: good balance of flavors, nice soft inside with bouncy octopus! Nice toppings of sauce and mayo too. Yuzu stir fry udon(?): udon such a nice chewy texture with a slight infused flavor. Nice mixture of veg and other ingredients within too! Seafood gratin: hot, creamy and cheesy with plenty of various seafoods, more than i expected! Textures of the fishes and mussles and other things were great and delicious. Sweet and sour meatballs: i wasn't a huge fan of the meatballs. But I did like the lotus root. Good crunchy texture but too oily. Crab xiumai: bouncy, slightly sweet, had sauce on the side. This was very tasty. Icecream: good strong vanilla flavor! I'm assuming it was sort serve which was why it was melting quick.

Nice selection of foods but a bit limited. Everything was at a good temperature and they were refilled quickly whenever items ran out. We originally booked for 4 people but it was easy to switch to 6. Staff man was very friendly and...

Got a chance to eat at Eclat due to an interesting reason!😀 Due to some mixup with the reservation at The Hilton Niseko, had to stay at Northern Resort for one night before finally moving off to The Hilton.

AND I AM GLAD FOR THAT MIXUP BECAUSE IT LED ME TO ECLAT RESTAURANT WHICH IS LOCATED INSIDE THE NORTHERN RESORT 👍🏻😋

The buffet at Eclat had a ton of dishes to choose from.👍🏻 My FAVORITES were the Dim Sum (it literally melted in my mouth), Mapo Tofu (MUST-TRY) and the Sichuan Style Stir-Fried Flying Squid.

The staff were very nice and the communication was good/effective despite them being non-English speakers. Next morning, before getting shipped off to The Hilton, I got to visit Eclat again for the breakfast buffet (which was complimentary).

Would I really walk through a snowstorm just to enjoy Eclat’s dinner buffet? Well..... at least I might seriously consider...

Lunch is a deal 2,100 Yen for an all you can eat buffet. The main meals are high quality and you get coffee and water with the meal. Dessert is a bit of a let down but the main meal is a great deal and well worth the price. Staff are nice and helpful and very attentive.
