It is our first time skiing and first time visiting Niseko. We took 3 days ski lessons with NV Snow School and the 1st day we had was a private family lesson with Ethan. NV Snow School is so well organised that they check the children's attendance before and after each session to ensure safety. They know exactly what they are doing and what group you are in just by saying your name. All the instructors speak fluent English so there's no problem communicating at all! The instructors are so professional that they communicate with each other to assign you in the right level group by their assessment. All the instructors we have had are so friendly and know how to communicate with all ages - adults and children - without any problems.

As first time skiers we were lucky to have Ethan as our instructor. We had an incredible experience with him and he really made our Niseko trip so special, memorable and unforgettable. He was so professional, caring and patient in teaching us how to ski according to our level and limits. By our second session on our 1st day, he encouraged us to ride the Godola and the chairlift such we can have the taste what skiing really means for the 1st time in our lives. It really means a lot to my whole family especially ages like us. Most importantly, Ethan has given our daughter a superb first time skiing experience that has made her fall in love with the sport! Big thanks to Jori H, who took me and my daughter to the gondola and helped us to conquer the fear. We had a few different coaches over 10days, Jori is absolutely the best. He’s patient and fun with kids, experienced coach, who’s identifying your weakness on the spot, teach you tricks and steps to improve.

Whilst the management of the school is unprofessional and chaotic. I made a booking for a 3 day the private lesson and especially requested one coach for 3 days. They changed it on the second day without notifying me and told me that you have to pay for extra 2000 yen to nominate the coach if you need one coach for three days. How would I know the rule if you don’t tell me! I surely can do that, but I need to know that the coach can be snatched even you made the request! The receptionist...

We had an absolutely amazing time with Niseko Village Snow School. Our instructor Hiro was patient, knowledgeable, caring and a really great human being. Being our first snow experience, we booked private family lessons and learned as a group. It was amazing to see how much Hiro was able to teach us in two days and we had plenty of confidence to take to the slopes independently in the days to follow. He was very good at paying attention to each persons needs in our family and he even encouraged my youngest daughter to be brave and get up there. I would highly recommend booking through this snow school and if you want a top instructor, ask for Hiro! Also the snow at Niseko was world class! Absolutely phenomenal for snowboarding!...
