Service is good with a nice view. Appetizer is good BuT.... Food is not good in general. A traditional Japanese restaurant should embody the Japanese culture, but this restaurant does not exemplify that criticality. #1 rice is mushy (watery) and made the dinner not appeasing (beef yakinuku/grill). The beef cut was marginal at best. #2 grilled Mackerel was alright, but too chewy and would be able to find a better restaurant somewhere else. The price tag this restaurant charges is NOT justified with the quality of food presented. This restaurant is effectively pricing it because of convenience. Hilton should reconsider their restaurant profile for this property.

Looks like the menu has changed within a few weeks of the last reviewer where there were cheaper food items available on the menu. The new menu (Lunar new year menu) only had options for ordering à la carte ¥5000 for each dish (which didn’t seem very fair considering the portions of food you get it really is not worth it & did not fill us up at all). The wagyu meat doesn’t even come with rice & miso soup. Food was nice but portions could be a bit bigger at least & give other options for the menu at different prices. On a plus note the service was very friendly & food came out pretty quickly & it has nice views from the windows.

I’m surprised given the previous reviews that we would have had such a great experience here. Jayson, our server, was excellent. The food was amazing, which is surprising since I haven’t had too many experiences with restaurants embedded in hotels being very good. I had the Hokkaido Yakiniku Gozen… and it was incredible. We also had a sushi sampler, again, top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are high compared to the rest of Japan… but that’s not surprising being in Niseko.

Important for all new viewers...this restaurant isnt as bad as the review says... But it definitely is expensive ..but so are the other options in Hilton! Food wise, we had this sisam set with braised pork, tempura, some sashimi, rice, soup etc. Honestly at about 60000yen, it's not worth it, but it taste pretty alright. Maybe this dish itself is a 3.5/5 but the price really kills it. Then we had their grilled makeral, aka Hokke. We were expecting a small piece of fish but instead it's an entire mackeral and it tasted really good. It's only 26000yen I think, and it's good for 4 to share as snack or 2 to share as a main if u order with rice. This is probably a 4.5 for value, in relative to other dishes. Then we also had the Hokkaido salad ramen...it's basically sesame sauce cold ramen which is pretty normal but it didn't go wrong. That's also another 3.5. And as we had 2 kids, both ordered the kids menu (teriyaki chicken and curry rice), both were at 1500 yen only! That's total value for money with appetiser, main, juice, a dessert. Honestly, if this set is available for adults, it's likely sufficient for some small eaters... So this is a full 5 out of 5. Overall, I don't see why the review is so bad... Yes it's expensive, but come on... I believe most of us would have googled and knew that before we came here. So overall, I will give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Reminder: Don't compare the value here with restaurants outside (it's like u can't compare a coke at a hotel lobby with one at the...
