Staff here is the worst. I went to purchase a new drive recorder for my vehicle and the one I wanted was out of stock. The female staff said it was out of stock but she will order it and it will arrive within a few days. 2 weeks go by, no call, so I call and they said they have no information about the order and don't have any paperwork under my name or number.....
So I order a slightly different model online and call to schedule the install. They said "the installation staff is too busy to talk to you now but they'll call you back today". Of course, they didn't call back, so I had to call them back again. Finally, they said they couldn't install it since I didn't buy it from them. Which is BS because Autobac previously installed a drive recorder that I received as a gift.
Sure enough, I took my vehicle and drive recorder to a different Autobacs and they were beyond helpful and kind. They didn't even question where I bought it, they installed it the same day with no trouble. They said they are able to install drive recorders if purchased elsewhere, so this location was just lying.
I don't recommend this location at all if you need work done on...
Read moreUS review. Underwhelming when you look beyond the veneer. It's certainly a large space and has a lot going on. At least a third of the store is devoted to apparel, books and the Starbucks. I'd describe the "parts" as casual consumer grade stuff, aftermarket knick knacks of the stick on variety that your mom or dad might pick up from local department store.
There's a section that are actual car parts (again aftermarket) but it's mostly targeting racing/performance. Only high spec vehicles. I didn't see any OEM parts. I came here thinking it would be like a super store for OEM parts or at the very least aftermarket parts for all car makes and models. They also only really had stuff for Japan manufacturers (the big 2 Toyota, Honda. Less stuff for Mazda Suzuki subaru). Didn't see any other big name sport/performance car brands (BMW/Mercedes).
Also everything seemed to be geared towards cars from the made in the last 5-8 years.
If you are an American JDM imported car owner you will not find anything here for your 25 year old car other than an air freshener or...
Read moreI came here for a second time after 3 years. Others said it was under renovation a few months ago. Well it's finished, and it's a big let down. It is no longer a real big parts store... it's.... I don't know..... the main floor has a huge bookstore selling car related books and magazines and there is a Starbucks in the middle. Around the perimeter of the book shop/ coffee shop they sell... car wash, basic tools, light globes and headlight globes, camping and lifestyle gear... it's more of a mum and dad no clue about cars shop. Upstairs is a basic performance parts shop/ section where they only cater to current model cars, for example, for Subaru, only exhausts and coilovers for a brz and levrog and current WRX.... they have a basic bucket seat/ race seat section... it was a real let down. I waited 3 years to come back to Japan and check it out again. If your into performance stuff hit up UPGARAGE And give this...
