There’s something truly magical about the idea of coming face to face with a famous personality. Madame Tussauds in Odaiba, Tokyo makes this dream within anyone’s reach as it offers 70 life-size wax figures of the world’s influential leaders, celebrities and athletes, historical icons, and even Japanese artists. The resemblance between the figures and their real counterparts is uncanny, and one cannot help but marvel at the craftsmanship that goes into each of these creations.

Taking photos with the wax figures is most definitely the museum’s main draw, but interactive games and activities are added into the mix for an even more immersive experience. You and your family and friends can play digital golf and soccer, take part in a virtual quiz, have fun with a light-based game, and many more.

During the time of our visit, we were careful not to interact with too many high touch surfaces (due to COVID), but we still had our fair share of fun and enjoyment. Here’s hoping that on your visit, you wouldn’t have to worry about the virus anymore.

As you explore the museum, you can learn about the process behind the creation of the wax replicas. You also have the chance to create your own hand wax, but during our visit, it was not operational. It is worth mentioning that food and drinks are not allowed inside like in any other museums.

So, to all my friends out there! If you want to unwind from all the sightseeing in Tokyo, then paying Madame Tussauds a visit is a treat! You'll surely have a fun time “meeting” your idols and taking photos with them. Just make sure to visit early so you can have enough time to see everything the museum has to offer. On the occasion of my birthday on January 26th we came to Madame Tussauds. Had a little trouble finding it. Later we went to the lego shop on the 1st floor and bought tickets. 2100 yen per person if you buy advanced ticket online and 2600 yen per person if you don't. Entering the elevator, I saw Bruce Wills standing and welcoming. We stopped at 6th floor. Johnny Depp stood as the elevator door opened.

At the first entrance, wax figures of many political celebrities will be seen. I remembered Shinzo Abe's statue very much.

After this, there were statues of famous athletes. I love wax figures of Lionel Messi, Usain Bolt and Maria Sharapova. There are fun games and activities. We take a lot of pictures and videos.

Statues of famous musicians can be seen in the next section. I play the drum set. Danced to Michael Jackson's famous song. Handprints of famous people can also be seen.

See the wax figure of Madame Marie Tussaud, who actually started this wax museum. Then there are world-famous scientists, writers, painters, among whom I like Albert Einstein very much.

In the next section we look at famous actresses and actors. Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Kate Winslet, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie are all seen. There is a modeling runway. We took pictures in the photobooth and left.

Regarding the place, Madame Tussauds TOKYO” is an experiential attraction facility that offers celebrity experiences through contact with more than 60 life-size Figures with the official recognition. Also, with over 250 years of history, popular attractions all over the world, including London, opened in March 2013 in “DECKS Tokyo Beach” in Odaiba. It also includes figures of overseas celebrities such as Michael Jackson and Johnny Depp, athletes such as Kazuyoshi Miura and Mao Asada, popular talent and celebrities. There is no partition such as ropes or barriers, so one can directly join shoulders, take photos freely, or enjoy the best celebrity experience.
