Dewa Shonai Kokusai Mura — Local services in Tsuruoka

Literally translated into Dewa Shonai International Village, a community center where you can get a lot of information about Shonai area. They held various activities that promote both Japanese and overseas culture regularly or periodically. You can learn Japanese language here too! The staffs here is SUPER HELPFUL and SUPER KIND, I feel like I have a new family when I was there for one year from autumn 2017 until summer 2018. You can find a cafeteria, a big hall, several meeting rooms, a reading corner, etc.

Best place to learn Japanese language and culture. Also, it is a social place to meet everyone from around the world. I meet new friends and study buddies here.
