Ario is about ten or fifteen minutes walk from the center of town. It's a pretty well equipped place - Ito Yokado dominates the eastern end, and has a food hall, housewares department and pharmacy on the ground floor. Upstairs are toys and fashions, including a gigantic baby stuff department. Beyond that there's a bunch of clothes stores, a pretty good food court along the south side and various other shops. The western end contains Muji and Loft, both of which can be depended on for good quality products, plus an arcade, Kumazawa books, a huge sporting goods store and a pet store full of hugely expensive cats and dogs. Nojima mobile is there as well - they are a good indie shop who do their very best for you and they have an English speaker on staff; ask for Kobayashi. Ario lacks any electronics shops beyond mobiles or toasters, however, or media shops beyond books. If you want music, games or films or the equipment to enjoy them, look somewhere else.
