Stayed here in October 2013 for 1 night midweek whilst on business trip.||The hotel was excellently situated within 30 seconds walk of Ueda station which is on the Nagano shinkansen line. The hotel does not serve food much like many others but does serve breakfast. I didn't eat the breakfast as I was sleeping but gather from others that it is Japanese style and very acceptable. For evening meals there are plenty of very good Izakaya and Ramen eateries near the station in addition to many other restaurants in the town.||The room was a double with room either side of the bed and a dresser with TV, fridge etc. The bathroom was very clean with shower, deep bath and the obligatory toilet with 'extras'. The bed was fairly hard which suited me very well but may be a consideration for others.||The reception area had a plethora of vending machines and information on the area, the receptionists spoke a little english and were very pleasant. The hotel has 3 pc's in the reception which are free to use with printer etc. There is also free wifi in the rooms. I would be perfectly happy to stay here again and would liken it to Premier Inn in the UK or Country Inn's in the US. The price for one night was in the...

Read moreI've enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very clean and breakfast is delicious (yummy Japanese dishes). Communication as times was difficult due to my lack of speaking Japanese and only one of the receptionist spoke a little English but all of them were extremely friendly and tried to help in any way possible. Rooms are small but very clean and all in all quite comfortable. (rooms are being cleaned every day) Vending machines for drinks, microwave, washing machine & dryer (coin operated), computers (printer and scanner) in lobby. They offer some hot green tea in the lobby throughout the afternoon and evening which is very good. Little shops, a mall, bakeries, ATM, train and bus stations are right around the corner (within 5 minutes of walking).||At Tully's coffee next to Ueada Station you can satisfy your craving for a Mocca Latte and chocolate donuts. (also a Starbucks in the mall) This is a very local town and you get a real Japanese...
